He has two daughters.

Oh! The legal pros said he's not a pedophile, but most of us consider him a perv since he likes the very young. So his having daughters...makes you wonder.

Depends on what type of medication and why he was put on the meds. If it was some preventative thing because his BP was rising due to increasing age, not much of a big deal. It will increase his odds of a heart attack or stroke, but he's taking on far worse gambles right now.

Okay, re-reading some articles. We've wondered whether the loan was on the Jeep or the Rogue. This was from an article and I think it means that the loan was taken out on the Rogue, anyone else? It would also suggest the Rogue was in his name.

"Surveillance video released late Wednesday night shows Cummins filling up his Nissan Rogue with gas just before picking Thomas up from Shoney’s.
Several days before their disappearance, the TBI said Cummins secured a title loan on his SUV, netting $4,500 in cash."

When TC was suspended was it WITH pay or WITHOUT pay?

If either of them accessed their health insurance, would it be discovered? Is there a way to monitor this?

Medical treatment and medication without insurance will eat into their savings. I was actually thinking about this the other day at the doctor. When I was uninsured a trip to urgent care and a prescription for antibiotics was over $300, which is a lot if you're two people trying to live off $4500.

This site gives a figure of about $400 per year for bp meds with no insurance, which I guess is not that bad, really. http://health.costhelper.com/treating-high-blood-pressure-cost.html

That would be my guess too since a Rogue is an SUV and a Jeep is, well a jeep.

You may want to add that he left a note to his wife the morning they disappeared from this article http://m.wmctv.com/wmctv/db_360513/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=6YRB8D2j:

According to Wayne County Now, Cummins left a note for his wife on the morning that the pair disappeared.
Details of the note haven't been made public, but District Attorney Brent Cooper says the note was a diversion to lead investigators in the wrong direction.

Re-reading the investigative report on the kiss. I found this interesting, when TC is questioned he says "he loves his wife and has never cheated on his wife and would never do anything to jeopardize his marriage". I don't know about anyone else, but a charge of sexual assault on a minor is a bit different than a dalliance. Certainly goes to show how twisted he is about his relationship with ET. and he called ET a "really good friend". Friend? Strange word choice. Amazed the investigator didn't pick up on that.

The reason I'm asking is that I just looked out into the driveway and imagined going on a 'permanent trip'. The vehicle I would choose would be the one that could get me where I'm going safely and efficiently.

I was just wondering if perhaps the jeep was older and less able to make it to say.....Mexico (as some have suggested).

But as I'm typing this out I realize the jeep would stand out more even though they are quite popular here in Ohio.

The Jeep Wrangler seems to be popular here in No. Virginia, too. In fact, I am so envious every time I see somebody drive by in one (about every 5 minutes, it seems, around here)! They just look like they are enjoying it so much. But, I am OLD (but quirky)! If I bought one, I'd lie and say I was getting it for my son! I keep thinking that I'd like to just rent one for a week or so to see if I REALLY do want one after all.

These are the "negatives" I've been told about Jeep Wranglers: they are unreliable -- I'm used to that, have rarely bought a "brand new" vehicle, and that's what AAA is for! They are gas guzzlers. Nothing new to me either. Ride "like a truck." Fine with me. Are noisy because of the soft tops. Have a tendency to tip over! (I always wear a seat belt.) Insurance rates are high on Jeeps.

But I've been told these things by people who don't own a Wrangler -- but maybe own a Grand Cherokee -- which doesn't even seem like a Jeep to me. The most appealing thing to me is that when I am sitting in a traffic jam, I fantasize that if I had a Wrangler, I'd just drive up over the median and go the opposite way to get out of it! So, then, I'd get pulled over -- no stranger to that either (but I don't need it)! I've heard that there is a "cult" following of those who own them. In other words, despite the quirks and seeming disadvantages of Jeeps, these owners are willing to overlook their "faults" because they love them so much!

Sorry for "Off Topic". I know this isn't a used car website!

Whatever pharmacy filled the original prescription will have to transfer it to another pharmacy.
OR
TC will have to go to another medical facility to get a new one.
I really don't see how he can get it "refilled" without LE finding out where he is.
The pharmacy could easily slow down the process, while they alert LE to respond and arrest TC.
So, I don't see him getting a refill.

My husband is on a few meds for hypertension. I know at least one of them is free at our local Publix.
I've never asked how much the others cost.

If you are really considering one then please do as you say and rent one first because when my Dad bought a jeep many years ago he found it was too bouncy on his back and had to get rid of it within a month.

It was an older model jeep and maybe the newer ones arent that bad. Just wanted to share the experience.

Got to thinking how LE can catch him.

Work with the repo man on the car loan default that he is likely to default on that loan. Those repo men sure can find the vehicle usually and in turn find him. :)

Wasn't it said (sorry, I have no link) that he told his wife he had, or was going to an interview on the day he disappeared?
Was this for a supposed job interview? If so, why?
He wasn't fired until the day after they left, correct?
