I was just thinking same make and model because in FL all toll highways snap a pic of the plate and it would stand out if it came back to wrong vehical and law enforcement also runs plates randomly as they see them you would not want the plate coming back to say a Ford truck when the car is a Nissan

I get it but, wow, that seems like it would take a lot of valuable time to find an exact match that had not been junked.

Then again, I can't remember the last time I tried to steal a plate for an exact match.

You might be on to something.

The above is my opinion only.

There is a lot of rural area off 65 from the state line until well past Cullman. It would be easy to find a farm vehicle and take a tag. Also several hotels in the Madison/Huntsville area, not to mention apartments, where it could be easy to take a tag, maybe even one for a different state.

Also if they kept going from Decatur, they could be in GA shortly. From Birmingham you can get to Atlanta in 1:45. You could cut across the state on numerous state highways and be in GA and then NC easily.

There are also some very nice beach places on Southern GA. A lot of cabins and state parks along this way that aren't really patrolled.

It was mentioned that she has a wheat and tomato allergy - perhaps the sister can elaborate? Is this an "upset stomach/itchy rash/etc" type of allergy, or something more serious? If it's something where she'd need an epi-pen or other medical treatment, then I'd suggest putting out word to hospitals/clinics/pharmacists/EMTs and also be alert for any drug store robberies, in case she has a reaction.

Hives on her skin. She had an epipen. I'm unsure if she took it with her.

I also have a wheat allergy (which is not the same as celiac disease... wheat is one of the top food allergies, up there with tree nuts and shellfish).... anyway, it's a spectrum disorder, which means she might get symptoms anywhere from upset stomach to full anaphylaxis. Alerting hospitals is not a bad idea.

Usually people who have multiple food sensitivities/allergies also have other allergens. In my case I have to wear a Medalert bracelet b/c I'm so allergic to certain penicillins it would kill me if I got in a car wreck and was given one.

FYI, b/c I think this angle might yet bear fruit.

In my corner of the state you can also find both heavily populated areas and extremely rural places (I know local people living out of a school bus "bunker" buried in the ground in a town of less than 200 people. We have several state parks and one very large local national forest area that the game and fish do not regularly check unless someone is reported missing INSIDE of the park boundaries. White Rock Mountain is just one spot and it's so big it's a little scary. Several of our parks have seasonal cabins and honor systems for camping. My husband is a big outdoor and survival guy so I have been asking him "what would you do" and "where would you go" questions. His said White Rock, no phone, bare minimum three month supply of food and medication, water purifying tablets, firestarter, hunting rifle, hunting knife, set up camp walking distance to a water source (lake, pond, stream, river, ocean), boots and clothing that can be layered. He also said TC isn't going to get much education from "that stupid book"!! I have no doubt my hubby could disappear and hide for months without being spotted. Husband would never, ever disappear, but he has given me some great insight on what TC may be doing or where they could hide in our state.

One that’s closer: Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky. It’s two HUGE wooded areas right next to two lakes, one of them is the largest manmade lake in the USA.

Alerting hospitals and pharmacies, especially chain ones, would be a good idea, an allergy that causes hives is one that can lead to anaphylaxis and need treatment. Sometimes even a benadryl will work and it is OTC.

They are probably on some beautiful beach, swimming, snorkeling enjoying the sun sipping on refreshing drinks and laughing at all us peeps looking for them :(

Yep, hives are a precursor to anaphylaxis - so is heart pounding, which means your blood pressure is dropping.

Oh my. This poor poor girl. Making some flyers later.

DO they snap pictures of all plates or just vehicles without a toll transponder? Seems odd they would snap photos of every plate and even if every plate were captured that they would compile data and run searches on it.
JUST my opinion

I looked in that location, very active with lots of people signed up for activities, I think they would not go there due to registration.

Since they have transportation and a good lead time, I don't understand why they would not use that to their advantage and escape the initial AA area.

The above is my opinion only.

With ET having a gluten and tomato allergy it does make it quite a bit more difficult for him to have stocked safe food supplies for her to eat. Wheat is hidden in virtually everything these days and buying gluten free things to eat is way more expensive than non gluten free items. Much harder to survive on peanut butter and crackers or tuna sandwiches with an allergy.

I think they are holed up somewhere cold and hungry, worried and looking over their shoulders constantly.

The Gulf of Mexico is the place that most people from this area prefer. That could be from TX over to the Keys in FL.

Well, he has in the past it seems.

I think they are headed to some place to warm weather and sandy beaches. I am less sure on how far they are in the journey, but I don't think they have intentionally slowed down.

The above is my opinion only.

I'm a little South of Decatur, but here in AL is our weather forecast. It is going to be stormy, but we are out of the cold weather right now.
