This is important, of course that doesn't mean he didn't stop and get some later.

I thought about that. He's no doubt a coward and would rather die than go to prison.

Let's all just hope he doesn't try to take ET down with him if he decides suicide is his only option. It's definitely worrisome to know that he has guns with him.

I also thought of that too but didn't want to say it. Yes, the guns worry me in all of this.

I don't understand why by now the Amber Alert hasn't gone out to all states..

It is. Hail here now.

I have a couple of points:

First, this livestream continues: https://www.facebook.com/whntnews19/videos/10154495691141045/?ref=notif&notif_t=live_video&notif_id=1490586494994423

Second, elsewhere it has been mentioned, and reminded me, that there are a lot of empty caves in this part of the state.

Third, the Huntsville airport is an international airport.

Two questions:

1. Does the fact that ET worked at a fast food restaurant mean that her food allergies were not at a dangerous level?

2. Does anyone know how one can see all the comments on a FB live stream? I can only see a portion at once.

I'm not surprised, this is classic. She was just what he was looking for, young, inexperienced, new to school, no support system. My guess is he even set her up to be bullied by other kids at school so he could "save" her. Make no mistake, this isn't about attraction or love, this is about power and ownership. I keep saying, don't focus on ET, she's not driving this or in any control over what happens and unless he lets her go, it's going to take someone seeing them or someone who knows where they are to come forward. She doesn't have a phone, she's most likely hidden somewhere in a remote place and he's in control. Focus on him, and where he would take someone to keep them under his control because the minute she got into his car he became the one making all the decisions.

I'm back and forth on the guns.. Here in the South, having guns, even carrying in your car isn't abnormal, but.. Most people aren't kidnapping someone.

Not true my dad was a cop and would run plates he was behind to check for warrents

I recently took a ride-a-long with a police officer in a major city, he ran the plates of EVERY car we found ourselves behind.

As a law student, I was concerned this might be a 4th amendment violation. I researched it, it is not.

This is a permissible practice regularly conducted by police on the job.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I own guns. It's the gun and kidnapping mix that doesn't sit well with me.

The Latest: Authorities south of US on lookout for teen

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Latest on a 15-year-old girl (all times local):

4:20 p.m.

Authorities say they've asked law enforcement in Mexico and Central America to be on the lookout for a 15-year-old Tennessee girl who is believed to have been taken by her teacher.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said the agency was doing it as a precaution only, and there have been no sightings south of the U.S. border of either Elizabeth Thomas or her 50-year-old teacher, Tad Cummins. The agency got a tip last week that the teacher's car may have been spotted in Corpus Christi, Texas, but police there were not able to confirm it.

But the AA only went out in TN and AL and it was the evening of the next day here, in prime time TV, when it went out.

I could have been next to them in Walmart that afternoon before the AA went out and never noticed.

Wasn't it almost 36 hours after they left Shoney's before it went out? I don't think they have even issued an AA past TN and AL.

I am in MS... no AA here. Frustrating!

For what it's worth, the manager of Tacky Jacks in Orange Beach told me that she got the amber alert on her phone, and that the local news there has also covered the story. Said she would help spread the word.

They haven't been able to confirm that TX sighting was them? That is very different than they debunked that sighting was them.

Exactly. It's the situation that makes the guns worrisome. I'm afraid that if TC gets cornered by LE, that's when the guns will come out. And I worry that ET could be caught in the crossfire.

"Tad Eric Cummins, 50, has an extreme dark side that hasn’t yet been spoken about. The revelation recently surfaced when investigators began deeply probing into his background."

WOW. Reading this makes everything even more worrisome. I bet the friend did work at shoney's then. Kind of makes sense since it seems shoney's isn't cooperating with LE and the friend who dropped her off isn't either

Funny, I saw the Cook Islands on one of his IG photos. I'd barely ever heard of the place before, but my son and his family are vacationing there right now! Too bad there is no internet to communicate w/ them there to BOLO. I can't imagine how TC & ET would've gotten all the way there, though.

ETA: It's all the way in the South Pacific, and the journey from the U.S. is rough.

Orange Beach is The Gulf in Alabama. Some TV's in the panhandle in FL could have gotten it, as some TV stations in that area are "shared".
