It appears Ms. Pandora's family's fundraising efforts are going well. I hope they can secure all the resources they need to find Ms. Duckett.

Search Dogs South conducted searches with some of their doggies but I can't find any updates yet. Hopefully we'll have good news in the morning.

:) Awww, these pups are so precious. One or more of these is on a mission to find Ms. Pandora.

I'm not a dog person (meeeoooowww!) but if I had to choose it would be Bella. No, it'd be Snap! Wait, maybe Hawk or Sassy. Yeah. Heck I don't know they're all so loveable. :D Ollie. Gunner. Justice. Mercy.

I do too but no updates.:( This kills me. Ms. Pandora kinda melts my heart so I'm hawking her thread hoping and praying. :)

Come on, Ms. Duckett. Quit visiting around town and get home. It's time to feed the birdies and kitties. They're starving without you. :)

She seems like a sweet lady. Alzheimer’s and dementia both scare me so much. It’s so easy for someone having an episode to get on the radar of nefarious people and get taken advantage of/assaulted/killed. Not to mention being exposed in any bad weather conditions/temps. I’m praying she’s found safe soon. jmo

Basements? Attics? WALLS (yes, they've found folks in walls!)? Chimneys? Car trunks? Tree trunks? Travel trunks? 5 blocks folks!

I've read that she may have previously lived in Decatur GA. Has Memphis LE contacted Decatur authorities...just in case?

I really thought our lil Ms Pandora would be found by now. I’m hoping she’s all mixed up and someone is keeping her warm and fed and stuff...like at a shelter maybe. I want her back where she belongs with her family all safe, sound and happy.

Yeah, I do as well. I'll admit hope is fading some but we've seen miracles happen so that's what I'm praying for now and as often as I think of Ms. Pandora. Maybe this reward money will help get tips going and ppl looking for her.

She had recently moved and lived alone? Perhaps she was trying to go back to her former house?

Moved from some place in Memphis to another Memphis home or from farther away? I found one of those freebie bkgrnd checkers and it said uhe sed to live in another state. I don't put much weight in those but I still look. ;)

85-year-old Pandora Duckett
Memphis, TN - Shelby County

Ms. Pandora walked away from her home on the 4300 block of Rosswood Drive. The missing 85-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s she was last seen wearing a gray jacket and gray pants. She stands 5-feet-5 inches tall and weighs around 110 pounds. She was last seen at a Valero station on New Allen Road and Raleigh-Millington. She has Alzheimer’s and likely could not tell anyone where she lives.

A lady, Ms. Settles, offered Ms. Duckett a ride home after leaving the store. Later it was realized that Pandora was at the right street, but the wrong address. Pandora actually lives about five houses down from where she told Settles to stop.

Family said before she went missing, Duckett talked about having to go to work at TJMaxx, a place she worked for 10 years until 2017.

Idk if this is an ok link. It’s I Have Vanished. I’ll alert a mod to make sure it’s ok. I REALLY thought Ms Pandora would be back home safe and sound by now. This is looking like a sad ending, but I’m not letting go of my hope yet.

Where is Pandora Duckett? What we Know About the Missing Shelby, Tennessee 85-Year-Old Woman - US Car Crash News

Oh, my. I hadn’t read all of these details. This article may be posted upthread and I missed it.

From article:

After news of the missing Shelby woman broke out, information emerged indicating that she was at a gas station on Monday before leaving her son the voicemail. According to store employees, Pandora tried to buy chips and a Gatorade but complained about the high price.

“She walked in. Took her chips and Gatorade. Came to counter. He rang her up and she said that’s too much. Take off the Gatorade,” said Haithm Alsaadi, the store’s owner.

Video footage at the store shows Pandora Duckett may currently be mentally disoriented. In the video, she is seen handling the store clerk her keys. When asked why she handed him the keys, Pandora looked at him, got the keys and walked out.

IIFC I read that article or a similar one from a link above. I remember the detail of her attempting to pay with a key or some similar item.

Oh my heart aches for her. She seems so sweet and kind. :(

I am not judging anyone here, but if my mother or aunt mentioned something about going to work at a place I no longer worked, red flags would go up for me, with my loved one having Alzheimer's. Clearly something was very wrong that day and she was confused!

I feel bad for the lady who tried to be nice and give her a ride. She didn't sense anything unusual because she didn't know this poor woman. I am sure she's feeling bad about dropping her off at the wrong address, but how was she to know?

Prayers for Ms. Duckett's safe return. If they find her alive, she needs to go into either an Alzheimers Assisted Living or a nursing home for Alzheimer's patients.

Family of missing elderly woman keeps faith after ground search is suspended: ‘We’re a strong family’

Police say she vanished Monday morning after she was seen walking from her home.

"Some young lady took her to the store, then brought her back and dropped her at the other end of Rosswood over there," he said.

SNIP

she dropped Duckett off near a dead-end on Rosswood because that's where the woman said she lived.

It turned out to be the right street, but the wrong address. Duckett lives at least five houses down from where she told Settles to stop.

Settles says she watched Duckett walk to the door. But she didn't see her go inside because she was in a hurry to get home to her children.

She then says, not even twenty seconds later, something told her to turn around. But by that time, Duckett had disappeared.

SNIP

Surveillance footage from the convenience store shows Duckett trying to pick up chips and a drink.

They were snacks she didn't buy because it cost too much. The clerk told us the confusion was written all over Duckett's face.

I, too, still have some hope that Pandora is located safe.

I know that the odds are not pointing this way but there is always hope.

Thanks, Zen. I'm certain that gives her family and many of us some confidence to know others haven't given up hope. And Sleuthers here at WS usually don't. :) I've never seen anything as wonderful and purposeful as this site. What's more important than life, health, happiness, death, and an honorable remembrance of you?

:D Thanks to Tricia, an amazing admin./staff, and the world's most caring and well-behaved members (most of y'all ;) ) families and friends can get the help, resources, and care they need through the awful process of locating missing loved ones. It's a blessing! :)

Off-topic...I know.
