Morristown investigators are looking for Robert "Robby" Shultz.

Police said Shultz was last seen leaving his home on Jan. 11 with a few belongings. He told his mother he was visiting an unknown friend.

On Monday, his car was found abandoned a short distance from his home with the keys inside.

Detectives believe he may have been in Carter County recently.

Shultz is not wanted for a crime, and his family wants to confirm that he is safe.

On Monday, his abandoned vehicle was found a short distance away from the home, the release states. The keys had been left inside the vehicle.

No obvious signs of trauma were apparent. A forensics examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
