Flores said Hamlett was found unconscious at St. Andrews Park. An ambulance was called and he was taken to Parkridge Medical Center but was then transferred to Prisma Health. He was treated for severe dehydration."

Hamlett was recognized by a hospital employee and reported.

MONROE COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVC) — The wife of a Tennessee man charged with murder and who police say lied about being attacked by a bear in Monroe County now faces charges herself.

Authorities in South Carolina charged Taylor Ann Fiber with accessory and false reporting after they said she helped her husband, Nicholas Wayne Hamlett, hide from authorities.

An affidavit states Fiber bought a ticket for her husband to flee Knoxville and then get to South Carolina. Authorities caught up with Hamlett at a Columbia hospital late Sunday night, when a staff member recognized his face after seeing it on the news.
