I realize that some things may be taken for granted in text conversations. I’m going to try to clarify as best I can…
In my opinion, I’m trying to focus on Summer. Whatever personal opinions I have, I’m trying to set those aside and only see what relates to Summer. My thinking goes like this: If there is a history of violence or SA in the family, that could have a bearing on Summer’s disappearance. If someone lashes out when angry or drinking, an accident could have occurred. With the SA piece, there’s a set of behaviors that opens up that I’m hoping can be eliminated, but we’d have to wait for LE to do so, IMO. Specifically, if an adult tried to do anything sexual with Summer (I have no knowledge of whether this happened, I am just trying to think through hypotheticals), that could have caused her to cry out or ask questions or could have even resulted in an injury due to her size (I would prefer not to elaborate). If this happened, because the family would not want to lose custody of their other children, I could then hypothesize that a family may try to minimize the harm to their family unit. I am NOT saying that is what happened. I also wonder if a sexual predator may feel more comfortable seeing the good in others with a history of SA, and whether or not that opens up the possibility of other people being on the property regularly who may not have good intentions. Add in alcohol use, possible other substances, and people’s judgment can become impaired and accidents may be more likely to happen. One example I could think of is perhaps someone trying to back up a vehicle and not being as aware as they should be.
I am just saying that since LE has said everything is on the table, we have to try to eliminate possibilities one at a time, IMO. I don’t think there’s any way to eliminate these things at this point due to the many contradictions in statements and that’s causing frustration.
