DW slipped and said that his friend with the yellow Nissan Pathfinder left his vehicle that day and rode with DW in the Subaru to work, they had a long drive that day.

Then he corrected himself.

This is a big change of events, this would place that person at their house that day.

That's huge. If it was that same day, then DW lied when he said he had fired the guy several days before Summer went missing.

I just can't give DW a pass, weather he's guilty of disappearing SW or not. Just his SA, victim blaming and shaming,and now threatening CM with something that is not only completely immoral(as if he cares) it is also probably not legally wise,to threaten anyone with slander. Where were the boys?
I am never going to get caught up and I haven’t watched any of DW interviews. The boys were home when Summer disappeared, per CBW. H said the boys were at work with DW. Did DW take them to work in the morning, drop them at home at some point, and then return to work? Am I missing something here?

Then in the next sentence DW said that that happened the day before, trying to correct the statement.

CM and SJ thinks that he is talking about June 15th. He slips then tries to over correct himself.

Yes, it is likely far-fetched, but I would personally be tempted to do it if I knew a child was being raised in this situation and authorities had turned a blind eye. They’ve known about the problems in this family for a long time and it wasn’t until Summer disappeared that they finally yanked the boys out of the house.

And Summer was probably at most risk all along.

CM said he theorizes DW may have both gone to work on the day of Summer’s disappearance and also come home earlier than he claimed.

The problem I have with this theory is that I've followed many child abuse cases and for the majority, CPS are known to the family. Time after time family members call CPS yet the child/children remain. Not once, that I can recall, has someone taken the child away and staged a fake kidnapping in order to protect them.

Wow. I felt some sympathy for CBW before reading this. The most I can muster at this point is to remark that CBW is not the only wife in the news lately defending a man who publicly admitted to molesting a sibling. This family is imploding or exploding or both, and I hope the boys are being shielded from this.

Poor Summer. What a card to draw in life. Still not one single word about their little girl.

It's speculation because of DWs alleged past history. The way he (DW) speaks of Summer is showing a pattern that other SA perps have.

How he described Summer and their relationship was unusual, it caught my attention right off the bat. Definitely strange to the ear.

I do have a question though. Let's say someone with the specific circumstances of DW's known history as a teen/young man- but there aren't any other "known" acts of SA as that person ages. Would having a daughter the same age as his known victim all those years ago, trigger some sort of impulse to do it again? I've probably worded this badly but hopefully someone will get what I'm trying to say.
