It's normally considered legal to interview minors as long as a parent or guardian is present. LE had probably already interrogated him, and it's my opinion that when CM talked to him it was not like an interrogation but a simple talk. And his mother and grandma were there, so nothing wrong with that. He was with them for part of the day, so it makes sense.
LE has interviewed kids as young as 5. H was 15... not a little child.

I gave an opinion that it was a bad idea to interview a minor (H.) but did not add further context. I wasn't referring to LE but a YouTube host. The parent did give permission as they were present for the entire interview. I believe a lack of discretion was present on all adult parties involved, the host for thinking it was a good idea and the parent/guardian for putting the minor child on YouTube during an active investigation into a missing child. IMO

I was not talking about LE interviews, I was talking about YouTube "interviews" and media interviews. Obviously, LE has to talk to the kids and to H.

Sadly, I don't think LE has a clue what happened to Summer. I was hoping the unfounded drama on this case was playing out on the interwebs and not in the county where Summer lived. I can only imagine the mess. IMO

I pay no weight to YT profiters since everyone has a circus opinion and cashing in. I'm going on LE statement everyone is suspect and listening to first hand who are are talking and using it. That is sleuthing.

Edit to add... LE knows doesn't need YT and this could potentialy interfere with it. But
suspects (anyone else first hand) that speak and use it are noticed. Peanuts and circuses are of no interest. Interference to get others to talk can also interfere with potential charges and could prevent justice and crossing the line.

Moo, Has anyone heard from the lady from Summer's church? Is Candus still a member of the church? Are they still giving support? I wonder if the church people feel any different now. I would love to hear everyone's opinion that lives there. So now Don is in jail, do you think he has gone thru withdrawals? Wonder if he is getting any drugs in jail? Wonder if he's reading the bible? Wonder if anyone has visited him? I do hope Candus is doing the right thing by getting help. Just questions I think about.
