TN TN - Tabitha Tuders, 13, Nashville, 29 Apr 2003

This case is still being investigated however it's in limbo waiting for a break. Tabitha is still listed as a runaway because there is no evidence of any kind of abduction-there never has been.
What is amazing is the fact that that area has not changed a single bit in 13 years or so. When I'm there looking around the place seems to be waiting for something to happen.

Odd feeling to say the least. You could go out there this afternoon-walk about 40feet down the road at the last sighting and stop. She is within 200 feet of that location.

Tuders was last seen walking down a hill at 14th Street and Boscobel Street. A young boy said he saw her get into a red car.

In 2014, that boy, now a young man, came forward and told police he saw Tuders get in a bright green car with a cobra on it.

Police pursued the green Mustang lead.

“I’ve really hit dead ends on that,” Doug Jolley, a Metro cold case detective, said in 2015. “The address I was given where he potentially lived had been sold about a year after his disappearance.”

Another year has passed and police want to talk to a man known only as Juan. Police said he owned both a green car and a red car at the time of Tuders’ disappearance.

I'm not too familiar with Tabitha's case so why do you think it could have been her sister's boyfriend?

I'm not too familiar with Tabitha's case so why do you think it could have been her sister's boyfriend?

This is from Tabitha's profile on the Charley Project:

A neighborhood boy told police he saw Tabitha get into a red car with a man on the morning of her disappearance. He described the driver as African-American, 30 to 40 years old, wearing a baseball cap. The witness stated once Tabitha was inside the vehicle, it reversed course and headed back up the hill. The boy's story has not been confirmed and some investigators doubt his crebility, but tracker dogs traced Tabitha's scent along a route similar to the one described by the witness. The dogs eventually traced her scent into an alley, a place Tabitha's friends say she would never have gone to alone. Tabitha's sister's former boyfriend matches the description of the driver, he drove a red car, and he knew where and when Tabitha took the bus to school each morning, but police have never been able to connect him to her disappearance. Tabitha's parents stated they did not believe she would have willingly gone into a car with anyone other than a family member.

Throughout the thread, there were reports of odd behaviors from the sister and her boyfriend, like how they slept in Tabitha's room beginning a couple of days after she disappeared.

Separate from this, the person who used to post on this thread wrote that a man moved from the area to New York soon after the disappearance. He was never questioned but may have had an encounter with Tabitha prior to her disappearance.

Federal Subpoenas Issued In Tabitha Tuders Case

http://www.newschannel5.com/news/federal-subpoenas-issued-to-question-persons-in-the-tabitha-tuders-case

Two federal subpoenas have been issued in the cold case of missing Tabitha Tuders.

The subpoenas stem from an incident out of state where an individual under arrest told police he knew something about the disappearance of Tabitha Tuders.

He later tried to change his story, but he and his girlfriend will answer questions before a federal grand jury - under threat of perjury if they lie.

"They are going to have to tell," said Tuders.

This is the first step toward rounding up persons of interest and compelling them to answer questions.

Those two "persons of interest" will go before the grand jury to answer questions about the Tuders case before the end of the year.

I hope her parents wil get answers very soon! And the person/people responsible for her disappearance will be brought to justice.

If this young lady isn't Tabitha Tuders I'll eat my hat.

This homeless woman was spotted at the Los Altos Shopping Center. She's been seen wandering the streets of Long Beach, CA for awhile. She is in her early-mid 20s and says her name is “Brandy”. It appears that she may be off her medications in great need of help. She says she grew up in Arizona and came to Long Beach, CA for nursing school but had to drop out.
