Looks a lot alike, noses are different but could have had plastic surgery being in that sort of business.
any updates on that lead?

The first words Nika Walter uses to describe childhood friend Tabitha Tuders are, “Nice. Quiet. Definitely daddy’s girl.” Nika remembered Tabitha's energy. “She loved to run everywhere; I just remember her running, running,” like in the foot races they held. When Tabitha went missing in 2003, "I thought, if she did run away she'll stay gone a night. I still did not believe the rumors, though." Days, then months passed. Nika Walters never saw her friend again.

“Grandma” Sage, who lived next door to the Tuders family, always had treats for the neighborhood kids. Nika smiles. “My brother was 18 years old and he still visited Grandma” for lemonade, cookies, and various goodies. “Everyone on that street visited Grandma.” It was here Nika met her friend, Tabitha Tuders.

Oh, how I wish she would be found! I am thinking she may have been taken for human trafficking?

It's been nine years since Tabitha Tuders vanished on her way to school, but she's still fresh in the minds of many in Middle Tennessee.

"It's, it's overwhelming that there's so many riders here," said mother Debra Tuders.

About 150 big-hearted bikers hit the road Saturday in East Nashville for this year's Bring Tabitha Home Ride. Sunday marks nine years since Tabitha disappeared.

~snip~

Tabitha's family will hold a candlelight vigil at Bailey Middle School, Tabitha's former school, Sunday at seven p.m., to mark the nine year anniversary of her disappearance.

These poor people. Have been thinking about Tabitha tonight in view of the tragic Jessica Ridgeway case... there are certain similarities.

Here's hoping for some closure sometime soon. <3

I am also thinking of Tabitha. I have always wondered how active her case is today. Doesn't sound like much has been many leads. Please dont let her case go cold!

There was a picture found of a girl wearing something pink thought to be Tabitha (not the same girl that's pictured on this page here) I wonder what became of that>

I hadn't heard about this case until today, when I read an article about the upcoming 10th anniversary of her disappearance.

I haven't read all of the previous threads (going back to 2003). The following is Tabitha's entry on the Charley Project which pretty much summarizes the basics of this disappearance:

http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/t/tuders_tabitha.html

There are countless articles about this case but, due to the passage of time, some of them are no longer available. When I find anything remotely current, I'll post it here.

It appears there used to be a couple of people posting on this thread who were involved closely with this case. But they haven't posted on WS since 2008.

It's sad when a case like this goes cold.

:bump: for Tabitha, missing 10 years today. :(

Snipped:

A piece of paper found in Tabitha's room after her disappearance may have some connection to her case. A picture of it posted below this case summary. The paper reads, in Tabitha's handwriting, "T.D.T. - N - M.T.L." T. D. T. are Tabitha's initials; the initials of the other person are unknown. Also found was a business card with Tabitha's name, address, phone number, and the notations "call me" and "sexy girl," the latter of which was crossed out and rewritten as "ghetto girl."
