Project Jason moved Tabitha's site to a new server (compliments of findmonica.org) well over a month ago, and no one else has signed her new guestbook besides me. Please let the family know that Tabitha has not been forgotten by signing it.

Thank you.

By way of being helpful to the website:
Someone needs to tell the webmaster of that website (http://www.tabithatuders.net/) that the flyer pics dont show up on the webpage because the image source link was accidently coded wrong. The actual file name ends with capital JPG instead of lower case letters but the link is coded with lower case links. I have experience in this little problem & so if they just recode the link to match the file name ending (or just change the file name ending to match the coding of the image source tag) the pics will then show up. Also the images on that girl's site are very poor quality. Any chance of them redoing those? Larger properly colored images might be a help to the public.

Who is Evans Duvall Dotson?

He is Tabitha's sisters boyfriend (and father of her daughter) who lived in the home a few months before Tabitha went missing. He worked nights at the time stocking shelves at a K-Mart and called the house around 06:00 that morning. He got off work at 07:00 that morning. His grand father went missing almost two months prior and he was supposed to be looking after him. He was found two weeks later dead about a mile and a half from his home. This was after he moved out of the Tuder's home. He has never been helpful and Jamie (the sister) has protected him from being questioned.

And so, have you pointed this out to LE, Johnny?

  • #310
The police know but have never shown much interest in him, and him and her sister even lived in Tabitha's room. Actually Jamie was living in Tabitha's room at the time she went missing.

Keep asking and I'll answer what I know.

  • #311
Can you clarify? The boyfriend (Dotson), the sister (Jamie), and Tabitha were all living in the same room? Or did the boyfriend move in after Tabitha disappeared?

Evans and Jamie had lived with the Tuders for approximate six months from around July of 2002 to aorund Christmas of that year. Jamie remained living there for about a year and a half longer. The last picture taken of Tabitha was Easter a nine days before she went missing, also Evans was in that picture (at the Tuders home) He came by often and was one of the few people who had taken her to school. A boy who was at the bus stop that morning said he saw Tabitha cross in front of a red car driven by a black male with a baseball cap and get into the car, the car then did a u turn and left in the direction of Tabitha's home. This description meets that of Evans. And is the only one associated with the family which meets that desciption was off work called that morning had previous private contact with Tabitha. Also the boy at the bus stop was very matter of fact with his desciption and has remained consistent with his account.

Do you know if LE ever searched his car for evidence?

He borrowed cars at random, from his friends to his Aunt's or even Jamie's and hers is the only one that might have been searched.

One of the most alarming comments for me was to here that "she used to worship Evans and then one day she couldn't stand to be around him". "qoute" from Tabitha's grandmother, no one seems to know what or why the sudden change in attitude towards Evans.

Something else which hasn't been explained, Tabitha had a small photo album that she kept pictures in and the album was found but all but two photos were missing. Did she take them or was someone trying to hide what was in the pictures? Maybe they were just misplaced. Her best two friends saw the album and pictures Sat. the 26th and Sun. the 27th before she vanished.

From the information Johnny provided this guy seems to be a prime suspect. Sounds like a possible sexual assualt occured and then he killed her to prevent her from telling anyone. It is very odd that he called the house at 6:00 am the morning she disappeared. I wonder where he could of disposed of the body?

Regarding the missing photos:
Since the friends saw them, could they give a description of what was in them?

I really hope that Tabitha is alive and being kept somewhere. I really wish she could be returned to her family.

evans grandfathers house which has been vacant and cleared out of the belongings is still to me a possible place that tabitha could have been taken too and assulted there and then maybe even killed there. the property just behind the house is heavly wooded and could be a prime place for a search which has never been looked at. this location is somewhat remote enough that he might not have even been noticed going there. if he were no one would have payed much attention to him since the house was being cleared out. I myself went to that location and looked around, the property next door has folks staying there and I was never even noticed there, at least I did not see anyone paying me any mind being there. your thoughts are just around the same thoughts that I have had, I believe that at some point and time, evans had made some sexual advance towards her and that is the reason she started being distant from him, she used to go to his sisters house on the opposite end of town to babysit and I believe that is where the misconduct took place, I then believe that tabitha spoke to her sister about it and the word got back to him thru jamie. I believe he decided to take some action to make sure she did not go further with telling the story to her parents or even a friend. evans knew her bus stop and the time she would going to it. I believe that jamie is protecting him in some way or another, he might have even made threats to her that if she told anything he would harm her, maybe the phone call that morning was to tell jamie to let tabitha know that he would pick her up and take her to school that day, to those that know a bit of the story, maybe that is why tabitha was wondering up and down the road as if she was looking for someone? maybe for him or maybe for some of her friends? johnny, I have been by the k mart store several different mornings, there is a small red car there during the time around 6ish or so. could be a good fit of discription that the little boy gave, older model and looks as if it has been maintained.

Wow!! That house and those woods need to be throughly searched. I highly doubt he went to great lenghts to hide the body or other possible evidence. LE needs to follow this up immediately!

From everything that I've read in the last couple pages it is like reading a blue print to what happened to Tabitha and where she can probably be found. It does sound like Jamie isn't being honest. She may not believe that her boyfriend did anything wrong and so is covering up for him...maybe he wasn't really with her when she said he was or something like that.

Tabitha liking Jamie's boyfriend and then suddenly not liking him and not wanting to be around him is a huge red flag. I wonder if she was ever asked why the change of heart? I don't know what LE has to lose by going out to that grandpa's home and property to take a look around. It just makes common sense to me. Maybe they have checked it out but haven't said anything about it. So many things about this boyfriend just stand right out. Is he still Jamie's boyfriend?

if he is still seeing her it is not known. the property that his grandfather lived on is in another county so metro police would not have jurisdiction in that location, they would have to have the sumner county police involved. if I understood correctly, evans was no where around until 1 day after she went missing, says that the family didn't like him, so why was it ok the next day for he and jamie to be sleeping in tabithas bed? why is jamie being deceptive when ask if she met evans and one other person at the storage facility at rivergate mall the day she went missing? the clerk varified that jamie did in fact meet two black males the afternoon of her disappearence, I wonder if maybe they took a large rubbermaid chest of sorts so as they could put her body in it? evans certainly has been a circumstancial fellow, one, he was considered a suspect in his grandfathers disappearence, and now is a person of interest in tabithas case as far as I am concerned...
