Metro Nashville Police have identified the 30-year-old California man who was shot and killed in an apparent robbery attempt while walking with a friend in downtown Nashville.

Police Capt. Gregory Blair tells local news outlets that Teddy Grasset died after being shot early Monday.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) –Two suspects in the murder of a California tourist in Nashville last month have been arrested in Raleigh, North Carolina while authorizes continue to search for a third suspect.

Andy Nunez, 22, and his girlfriend, 20-year-old Daniela Cruz of La Vergne, Tennessee were both wanted for homicide in connection to the September 25 murder of Teddy Grasset.

Two men found guilty on all counts in murder trial of California tourist

A jury has reached a verdict of guilty on all counts against Andy Nunez and Joseph Santillan in the trial of California tourist Teddy Grasset murdered back in 2016.

The two men were immediately sentenced to life in prison after the murder convictions and won't be eligible for release for at least 51 years.
