No, I didn't expect them to search all over the US. If they thought she was dead from the beginning they could have and should have called in TES themselves and given them the ping information they assuredly had from early on. Unless you are saying LE can't call in TES..? They can. Which begs the question-WHY did it take an internet forum to force the issue?

I thought I heard Tim himself say he has to be asked by the family. I'll verify it with Blink. She would know.

Do you think LE believed from the very beginning that Caylee was dead? If so, how do you explain the lack of organized searches? They could have called TES themselves, they didn't have to wait for the family to do that.

If they thought at first that she was alive, how do you explain the apparent lack of searching for a missing child? We know that a lot of tips were dismissed.

It is possible Caylee is with someone safe, and NOT with her accomplices.

I do not think that LE thought she was dead, they just didn't get cooperation. But the DNA evidence came back quickly from the trunk and then they didn't need to look for a LIVE Caylee anymore but a DEAD one, you know what I mean? I think the tips were dismissed because of LE evidence, of which are not available at this point as they are trying to build a case. It is POSSIBLE that Caylee is with someone safe, though not PROBABLE.

If LE can't get information out of a POI or suspect, which is usually the case I might add, they go ahead and develope their own information. They don't sit around and wait for a liar and possible murderer to tell them what to do.

You are seriously just kidding, right??? Doubt given over 400 PAGES they weren't just "sitting around" as you say! So where do you think Caylee is? Do you believe "strangers" just like to "hang out" keep kids that don't belong to them just because it's fun? Or if you DO believe someone Casey knew has her therefore CASEY HAD to have done something, been involved in something for them to (which never in a million years do I think is the case but that is beside the point) .. Yet you blame the LE? That makes NO sense whatsoever... If she was my daughter, she would not be in my home for one single moment until she told the truth... That is part of what is wrong with her and why this child is missing now... IMO

My question is, what is it about Casey that makes people believe her story? What does Casey have that makes her supporters block out everything everyone else has said about her, which indicates that she's a sociopathic liar who killed her child?

Actually, TES prefers the family brings them in. While in some cases, LE has been known to request their services...it is unusual. The answer is yes...either one can request them. TES offered to help in the Jennifer Kesse case and LE turned them down.
