I can't see their point. I used to looooove Tom and I still think he is handsome although no longer "hot". I think Katie is sweet but her brain is awash in Scientology crap. Anyway what about people who get "married" again or renew their vows after 10 years? Is that all for show? They are already legally married so what is the point? What about people like my brother and SIL? They found out they were pregnant after they got engaged and they didn't have time to plan the wedding SIL wanted before the birth. So they got married in a simple ceremony because it was important to both of them that they were married before the baby arrived. But my SIL still wanted her dream wedding so they made plans to have a real church wedding later. I don't think that is wrong. My wedding pictures suck. I hated my wedding. I would love to do it over again and have nice pictures to display. We didn't have the money back then to splurge on some big fandango thing. If I do another "wedding" it doesn't change anything legally. But for personal and sentimental reasons, I would still like to do it. I don't think there is anything wrong with getting civilly hitched in LA and then having your dream wedding elsewhere. And anyway, it isn't our business. Again, not a Cruise lover but if they go public, people screech about them being photo hogs. Then they go private with Suri (a baby changes everything in the way you think by the way) and people say that is suspicious. Now they are public again and everyone is crying "SHOWOFFS". Humans are never happy. Sigh.

TC is nearly 44 years old - time for a mid-life crisis. Has anyone ever learned why he filed for divorce from Kidman? What did she do? I remember he said that "she knew."

It's interesting that Kidman and TC used to have such an active life - skydiving, etc. I haven't heard that he and KH have done more than wave to the media. That's gonna get old real fast.

I don't agree with Scientology at all, I agree it is a cult, I think Tom has been controlling and Katie should have run away long ago. But the wedding picture they released does not look fake to me so I don't think Katie signed some contract agreeing to pretend to be in love for a decade and then move on ala Nicole. Katie looks positively madly in love in the picture from yesterday and Tom looks like he is happy and normal for once. They both have white knuckled grips on each other's hands as though they can't bear to be apart. I think it is a beautiful picture. And I think the picture of Suri over Tom's shoulder looks like she belongs biologically to Tom and Katie. Not saying she wasn't conceived in a test tube. HAHA But then there is the account of the never-ending kiss too. Maybe they really do love each other and they are just odd.
PS I like Tom's hair long. But that is just me, I guess.
