Is tommy's lawyer just for the drug charges ? Or is he also tommy's
lawyer for HaLeigh's investigation ?
Kind of looks like he is but this is a post I made yesterday questioning the same thing.

After Tommy failed the poly Werter arranged for him AH reported Werter texted him and stated he was no longer representing Tommy in regards to issues pertaining to Haleigh.
Right after that he changed his mind, got Tommy to talk to Steve Brown, LE, and the search at Shell Harbour happened. It is my understanding Werter is representing Tommy for the drug charges and issues pertaining to Haleigh.
LE had no right to question him without an attorney present. If they did the county can be sued by Tommy and he will win.
If anyone has not watched this 20/20 episode or heard about this case please do so.
It is heartbreaking and despicable what LE and the prosecutor did to Kevin Fox and the victims minor brother.
I fear this is what Putnam Co. is trying to do to Tommy.
I wonder if FDLE still has anything to do with Haleigh's case. IMO the FBI needs to take it over. Something is not right in Putnam Co.

MOO and all that stuff!
Some LE uses tactics similar to what Tommy is claiming, yes. The question however is did LE do this to Tommy? If so, it's illegal. But just like any allegation, it would have to be proven.
And whether or not Werter represents Tommy re the Haleigh investigation matters not; if Tommy requested an attorney, interrogation had to stop. Everyone has the right to an attorney, and everyone has the right to remain silent. Even if they have not been charged, or it is just "an interview."
Tommy has lied and stolen and who knows what else, but it is wrong to be in favor of LE violating his civil rights...IF they in fact have. And I have yet to be convinced that they have.
yep, he sure made this bed, & has nobody to blame but himself.I have no sympathy for a guy who lies, lies, lies about a missing child, can't pass a polygraph, and is shaking in his jumpsuit because his sentencing is coming up next week. So what is he doing about this, whining and accusing somebody of harassing him after a little girl was either thrown into a river and eaten by alligators, tortured at the hands of wild drug addicted cousins, or any other wild story Tommy has told. Why should anyone believe this new tale? He enjoyed his time lounging in his private cell in the other jail, now he has to spend time with other people. Wow. Such torture. Too bad he and RC aren't cellmates, then he'd really be miserable.
Imagine, none of this would be happening if he had told the truth from the beginning, or if he didn't know what happened to Haleigh, why did he stupidly place himself there? Nope, not buying his new game.
Sounds like a ploy to get sympathy from the judge and possibly a lighter sentence because he has been "harassed by LE". He can't get a plea deal so he's going to cry "harassment". Little Tommy has cried wolf too many times and I'm not buying it without proof, and even then, I don't care. I want Haleigh found. He should get that through his head. He's made his own bed.
maybe not outright confessed, but told an inconsistensy, so self incriminating, that he wants it thrown out, while the throwing's good.Knowing Tommy and his past actions I have to wonder if maybe he confessed and this is a ploy to take it back.

i just watched this video and it just made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I don't see tommy as a killer, i don't see misty as a killer, but the one with the odd behavior throughout all of this has been ronald and company but yet nobody but nobody will check him out. For me he sent red flags up all over the place but nobody seems to care down there in florida and i'm not the only one who feels this way.
Except, we know they had Ron in a room, and told him that the only time Misty would break down and cry, was when they talked to her about him. Ron said Misty was smoking, he almost seemed kinda jealous when he said this, so at that time I dont think anyone was "befriending" him at that point. They arent giving Ron smokes and taking walks together because they think hes a super neat guy. They want information from him in regards to what happened to HaLeigh and they are trying to gain his trust and make him feel "macho" and special by getting these special privileges.
But back to him being told about how Misty reacted to him, what was the point in all that?
I just dont know what they are thinking putting Tommy in GP. I dont think Ronald will touch him though and maybe thats why they are in the same area, the cops know Ron is all talk.

I hear about prisoners complaining about this kind of stuff all of the time, & I almost always, without a doubt, think they're ploys to deflect guilt. I don't know why I should feel any differently this time. I even read about a guy in Ark., who was suing because he had gone in as an obese man, & was losing weight-due to being 'starved'. He actually expected the state to finance his obesity status. He had killed a guy over a video game, I think. Most killers are so self oriented that they can't see anybody's hurts or injustices, but their own. That's why I don't like hearing about these claims. Haleigh died a horrible death, but Tommy's worried about his ac, his plumbing, his civil rights. He's scared of being called a name, or gettin' jumped. The best that Tommy can claim, is that he has withheld information about Haleighj's death. Has he been worried about the pain she suffered or her rights? obviously, not, because this case is still unsolved.
