Tommy's activities in Feb. 2009

It isn't but 100 yards to Green Lane from Tyler. I'd say he had maybe a minute from 116 to 202, on the very generous side.

I am missing a number on my bingo card can you explain?lol

Ronald would have driven right past 116 Tyler on his way home. If there were any LEOs there, surely he would have noticed. The Croslin's driveway is not obscured from the street.

It seems like LEOs park on the right-of-way in any case, at least around here. I have a nice big driveway, but they always park on the street, at least initially.

Sorry - I know we're drifting waaaay off-topic here. Maybe you can just go ahead and re-name the thread, Elle? ;)

So if RC got home at 3:24, Misty called 911 at 3:27, what time would RC have been driving past 116 theoretically?

Also, would there be a narrative from just one officer or from all the officers who responded?

All, I would think, but I don't know it for fact or have a link or anything.

Wonder why Teresa never mentioned zooming past that LEO on Tyler?

I didn't make the thread, I think it sort of applies, we are discussing 116 Tyler where ToC lived when Haleigh went missing.

About the police narrative, I could have sworn that while going over some case documents in the Casey Anthony forum, I saw numerous narratives. IIRC. It's been awhile but I think that is what I remember.

Bingo

Every LEO and family member had to drive right past 116 Tyler to get to Green.

I guess what I was trying to say earlier is we didn't hear everything that went on. 1256 was the first officer to respond to 202 Green. She may have reported back by phone instead. I still think she went to 116 Tyler to follow up with a quick search--maybe another officer arrived at Green in the meantime. When the operator specifically asks for 1256, she responds from Tyler after finishing up there and returns to Green. Later in the transmission the Lt. says 1256 is in charge which makes sense if she was the first to arrive. All JMO, and I guess a moot point anyway.

And yet, 1256's report was not released; it was the officer who took statements from Ron and Misty and TN.....which one would imagine is the first responding officer.

Here is the thing though, in my opinion Law Enforcement was not out at 202 investigating Haleigh's disappearance. I feel like the officer was in the area because one of the neighbors called in a call about either a loose animal(stray) or a barking dog. Nuisance. I would guess that call would have had to come in earlier than 3 am. Maybe ToC and Lyndsy were tucked tightly into bed and the dog had been yapping at something else for long enough to annoy a neighbor, who knows. ToC and Lyndsy had a history with dog calls, either their dog got loose often or it barked often and annoyed the neighbors. Either way, my question is why. I just don't think it's a coincidence, I need to think and read a little more.

Whatever it is, perhaps it is related to why the 116 Tyler was blackened out on the original incident report when they were describing the trail the tracking dogs took.

We really need to know why, when, who was at 116 officer was there!
I think it was connected some how.
Did the dogs hear a scream?
Was there a fight there?
What neighbor called the LE??? why???

I think it is important to note here that the dog complaint could have been at any time during the weekend before. Animal Control as I can verify from listening to the scanner, does not come out on weekends except for emergencies. They are on call and generally what I hear is the LEO responds and asks that a note be left for animal control on the next business day. You would not believe how many animal complaints PC gets on a daily basis. We hear them constantly on the scanner every single day. So, the dog complaint could have been filed at any time over the previous weekend or on Monday. I have also heard complaints on the scanner that it sometimes takes several days for animal control to react especially if they don't find the people home on their first visit.

A dog will bark to warn of dangers. Especially if the dog senses danger of a familiar member. I'm sure the dog knew Haleigh, and God knows whether the dog was trying to warn of what was going on the night of the 9th. That is a real possibility. But, without the actual report detailing the reason for the complaint and the date and time of the event IMO it is impossible to know.

Many of us on the scanner thread have rewound and rewound and rewound that 911 tape. First of all it is not complete IMO. Secondly, some of us are not convinced that LEO went to 116 Tyler at any point until after they had responded to Green. We believe that if you push the transcripts aside, none of which were prepared by LE, and listen carefully, it is very difficult to say with absolute certainty that LEO went to Tyler until after they, (LE), had been located at Green for a while. I'm not saying I'm correct and others are wrong. I'm suggesting if you listen to the 911 call yourself particularly that portion when the officer states she is on Tyler, you might question if there is a misconception that LE went to Tyler at any point on the night of the 9th, until after the 911 call.

MPO is that this is a misconception that LEO went to Tyler at any point before going to Green. But with a relative living that close, it absolutely makes perfect sense that once they began searching for Haleigh, that they would visit the home of her uncle , which was right down the street. MOO

All excellent questions, Timmy and Chelsea Croslin were supposedly at their home( in Crescent City?) pouring over insurance forms and papers. Cousin Joe was staying with Timmy and Chelsea, where the van was and reportedly moved and scratched) It appears there was some form of commotion on these two streets on the night/ early morn when Haleigh went missing.

Does anyone know if the yards on those streets are fenced in. I saw from Ger's pictures in another thread that the front yards weren't, but are the back?

I don't believe the yards were fenced in elle1919, from pics and footage I've seen. I agree, though, there seemed to be a lot of activity going on that evening.

I understand perfectly grandmaj, but the female law enforcement officer that responds from 116 Tyler says she is 10-8 from this location, that means in service right? It sounds like she finished up what she was doing and called in service to respond to Green from her location.

I am giving myself a headache....lol. I will check back in later.

Is anybody having any issues scrolling through the page here and/or typing a post? I am and I've checked other webpage sites to see if I have the same/similar problem and I don't. TIA

ETA: Don't seem to be having a problem now after posting my above above post!

Actually according to the link that was posted, the one who took statements said that he/she and Officer C Bridges both arrived at the same time.
C Bridges IS #1256 so I still stand by my statement.

Well, once there is an arrest, formal charges, arraignment, motions for discovery, then I'm sure there will be a big doc dump with all of the LEO narratives.... unless there is a plea bargain reached before discovery motions are filed.

FWIW & JMO - most of the more sensational cases here plea out early on, so don't count on ever seeing all the information.

I know it's hard to believe, but in a small town like this, the threat of airing someone's familial dirty laundry in public still holds a lot of sway in convincing them to plead guilty. Well, at least it did for my generation and those before me. Kinda like "You do anything you want to do, but don't you dare shame your momma in public." People just didn't do that unless they were from, uhmmm, a lower class of people.
