Police seeking public's help in identifying suspect in alleged hospital theft

image.jpg

Police say an unknown woman entered the staff locker area of North York General Hospital at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday.

They say the woman removed several items, including a set of vehicle keys.

Police say the woman then exited the hospital and was able to locate the vehicle using the keys, and drove away.

Investigators say they believe the same female suspect was involved in a similar incident at Humber River Hospital during the early morning hours on the same day.

They are asking anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers."

gotta be someone who previously worked there IMO
how would someone know where the staff lockers are?

staff who cleaned the room would know as well.

So might patients & families.

This is based on one hospital only, but Hubster was hospitalized last summer. Staff entered the building/complex through one door, apparently, and then most passed through a central locker room then walked to their assigned part of the hospital.

I gained this knowledge in 4 days. I can also tell you what vehicle parking lot security drives, all 3 shifts. (The vehicle that drives onto the parking lot -- and never, ever parks but reappears through the same entrance gate every 20 minutes for 8 hours.)

But I'm at home here at WebSleuths, The Place in CyberSpace for us Natural-born Noticers.
