In one staggering claim, the police document states:

“Price disclosed that the cell phone containing the recording of interest belonged to the deceased (Anthony Smith) and that it was the motive for his murder,” the police document states, referring to claims Price made on May 17.

Smith, 21, was shot dead on King Street West on March 28, part of a gang dispute.

“Price stated that the male (Smith) died because of the phone,” the police documents state.

OK it's like RF is the kid who never really felt like he fitted in, then suddenly as Mayor he's invited to all the cool kids parties and got carried away trying to fit in. They made an absolute mockery of him even at the time by the looks. How could he be so stupid?? HE really needs to step down, they had him by the short and curlies on all that stuff, and he made himself SO VULNERABLE to these scumbags, it's unreal.

The following events appear on the wiretaps from the early morning of April 20, 2013:

In a conversation between Elena Basso and Liban Siyad, she mentions Ford was at 15 Windsor Rd., suggesting Siyad come over to meet with the mayor.
Siyad says he was to deliver drugs to the mayor.
Abdullahi Harun tells Siyad on the phone that Ford is smoking "dugga" or marijuana, and has "so much pictures" of Ford doing "hezza" or heroin. Siyad asks Harun to photograph the mayor doing drugs because the photos would be worth money.
Siyad says "that the mayor of the City Rob Ford was smoking his rocks today," and "advised he was at [15 Windsor] house and that he will put a picture up on Instagram."
Lisi calls Siyad to say Ford is "freaking out" that he is missing his phone. Siyad says he can get it back. Lisi threatens to "put heat" on Dixon Road.
Siyad didn't heed the threat, since he says he has photos of the mayor "on the pipe".

On April 20 — known as 420 day on which marijuana enthusiasts smoke pot — police intercepted phone conversations about Ford allegedly visiting the “trap house” — crack house — at 15 Windsor Dr. owned by Elena Basso, a convicted drug trafficker known as “Princess.” Basso was reportedly calling around looking for drugs for the mayor.

Abdullahi Harun told Liban Siyad he had “Ford smoking on the ‘dugga’ (slang for marijuana).”

According to the wiretap summaries, he said he has so many pictures of Rob Ford doing hezza — slang for heroin.

None of the allegations have been proven in court.

In another intercept, Siyad said “Ford was smoking his rocks today” and he was going to put a picture up on Instagram.

The next day, Alessandro “Dro” Lisi, Ford’s notorious sometime driver, was then intercepted calling Liban Siyad accusing him and his friend of stealing Ford’s cellphone during the previous night’s drug transaction.

The phone that he told his staff he lost during a community "clean up" event? Uh huh.

Was this event the next day after this alleged drug night? Did he ever go to bed or just go straight to the clean up after his night at the crack house?

Exactly. Imagine the "favours" these guys would have been requesting with regards to their activities if this whole thing wasn't already under investigation. Who knows for how many years prior this was going on. As an elected official, both as a council member for the ward for many years and then as mayor, he should have known better. But then that's not really his strong suit. I don't think he has the ability to look anywhere beyond his own immediate wants and needs.

He's been hanging out with drug dealers and at drug houses for a long time.

He has been caught in multiple lies. I wouldn't trust a single word that came from his mouth. He doesn't deserve to have a high position in the community. There has to be a multitude of better candidates out there.

It boggles my mind that he has so much support. I could see it from his buddies or even others that engage in criminal activity but it goes beyond that.

Maybe they aren't reading the news. I don't know.

There wouldn't be this kind of support in my city for the mayor, if he behaved like this.

I think it must be that he continues to have support cause he's still seen as the champion of the common guy... and all of his lies are covering his own a**, and so many people live their lives that way every day that they can relate... and he's not misappropriating public funds or squandering tax dollars (at least so far as we know) like so many other politicians. IMO, he appeals to people whose own lives are a mixed up mess, because his fiasco seems to justify or 'normalize' their own dysfunction... JMO.
