Toronto mayor admits crack use

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/rob-ford-supporters-donating-to-help-pay-legal-bills-1.2464515

Anyone who donates money to support this junkie instead of paying an extra $60 on their own property taxes (or ANYTHING ELSE including donating to people in actual NEED) is a serious loser IMO.

Also, from your link:

The pro-Ford campaign says it is independent and according to Indiegogo, is run by someone named Iain McLaren.

Can't help but wonder if that is the same "Ian" who called in to the radio show and the host recognized his voice as belonging to none other than Rob Ford.

nahhhhhhh ;)

Rob Ford apology not enough for Toronto Star reporter in libel claim

"His statement today didn't come close. I'm proceeding with a defamation lawsuit," said Dale on Twitter.

"I didn't ask for an 'I apologize if'. I asked for an 'I apologize because I said false, damaging, and unfounded things, and here they are.' And, crucially, he didn't retract or specifically apologize for the categorically false, malicious, and in-itself-defamatory claim about me taking pictures of his young kids."

It appears as though RF tried to wriggle his way out of what he said by twisting his own words which were televised. He will never get it will he? It appears that Daniel Dale is not backing down on this. Good for him.

I see that "Ian" is now stating on the campaign page for donations, that he is closing it. I have my questions also about who this "Ian" really is.

The link to the campaign page is in the article.

There are some interesting comments left by people.

I'm bringing this link forward again, because I didn't realize how in depth this article went. If you click through and then click on each individual player, there is a lengthy description of their involvement or association with RF.

There is lots of information in the allegations link also.

I think if you've exceeded you limit for free articles clearing your cookies or history should allow you to view.

Rob Ford is a f*cking idiot, pardon my French. His response to his usage of crack cocaine? Oh, just one of my drunken stupors... oh, perfect! How is this man running a city? Also, sidenote, I'm from Vancouver and lately when I go to the US, whenever I mention being from Canada, Rob Ford is always a topic of conversation. Do people not realize that Vancouver has nothing to do with Toronto, besides being in the same country...? Jeez.

Haha! Rob Ford running again! There is no end to what Canadians will do for humour! :floorlaugh:

Dear goodness....
If we ever wondered what it would be like if Charlie Sheen was an elected official....This has got to be pretty close.

The scary part is he might get reelected. His popularity is still high

Judge orders release of Project Traveller documents

In a ruling released Wednesday, Justice Philip Downes ordered the Crown to release the documents to media lawyers by Feb. 19. The documents include details gathered through police wiretaps.

The judge’s ruling does not mean the public will get to see the police information next month. A ruling must still be made on whether the details should be made public.

23 things to know from 5,005 pages of Rob Ford aides’ emails

http://www.thestar.com/news/city_ha...from_5005_pages_of_rob_ford_aides_emails.html

20. The office learned about the crack video around noon on May 16, 2013.

At 11:15 a.m., CNN reporter Paula Newton emailed Christopoulos. Subject line: “The Mayor.” The email was short: “Need to talk to you. Where can I reach u?”

Although Christopoulos did not reply, and there is no further information in the documents, the Star later learned the pair spoke by phone. Newton asked him if he’d heard anything about a video of the mayor smoking crack. CNN had been told about the footage by Gawker. The site was hoping CNN might help buy the video, which was being shopped around for $100,000.

LMFAO!!! Now he's swearing in a Jamaican accent and using Jamaican patios and he's obviously wasted. AGAIN.

Mayor Rob Ford vented his anger at police Chief Bill Blair in an incoherent and apparently intoxicated rant caught on videotape taken at a Rexdale steakhouse early in the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 21.

“----sucker," Ford says, followed by the words "Chief Blair."

Oh but he's a man for the people. GMAFB.

I hate how these guys in the video are saying he deserves to be Prime Minister. WHY? Because he does drugs and appears wasted in public and constantly being videotaped?
