Toronto mayor admits crack use

Not only that, but he was pressing 1200 pounds on Easter Monday which is a holiday and then he went to an empty city hall with a woman. Just stop lying for your brother, Doug. It makes you as pathetic as he is.

this was in the article linked on the previous page... how can anyone support this trainwreck?

The city kept secret the name of the guard who wrote the report on the grounds that the disclosure could put him in physical danger. The decision was a response to Ford’s alleged March threat to “get” the different guard who reported his intoxication at city hall two years ago.

http://www.thespec.com/news-story/4621569-rob-ford-disruptive-in-rehab-sources-say/

Just a few days into his time there, according to sources, addiction counsellors were shaking their heads.

"We are not paid enough to deal with this guy," one counsellor remarked during a conversation with another counsellor.

"Rob Ford literally had the run of the place. There were no rules around Rob Ford," said another source.

In the hallways and common areas, Ford argued, pushed and shoved other patients who were angry that Ford had "brought his circus with him," sources said.

During the morning group sessions, where residents are encouraged to share their deepest secrets, Ford was abusive to other residents, shouting them down, refusing to listen, swearing constantly, sources told the Star.

By the halfway mark of the two months, his small therapy group had had enough and Ford was told to leave the small group. A private counsellor was asked to do one-on-one therapy with Ford.

What a 🤬🤬🤬🤬.

No clapping, no nothing. He hates gay people, it's clear. A vote for Ford is a vote for homophobia. JMO

How many people can afford to hire a "sobriety coach" to follow them around all day (and night?). Especially one who can't control their own temper? SMH

Rob Ford’s sobriety coach kicked shirtless protester: Toronto police officer

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s sobriety coach Bob Marier kicked a shirtless protester at a press conference Tuesday, according to a police officer on the scene.

In a video posted by CityNews Toronto, Marier is seen standing next to John Furr, a demonstrator, who himself was standing topless behind the mayor, chanting “resign, resign, resign,” as Ford tried to speak.

The two men, Marier and Furr, appear to collide. Then Furr shouts: “Don’t shove me!” and someone pulls Marier away. Standing behind him is a police officer.

“If you want me to help you out, you can’t be kicking him,” the officer tells Marier. “I saw you kick him. I saw it happen.”

Unfortunately I think he's pretty confident that his "Ford Nation" supporters feel the same way as he does about the LGBT community. :(

Rob Ford disruptive, verbally abusive at rehab: report

“My sources have told me that Mayor Ford did not embrace the program. He was often verbally abusive, sometimes physically aggressive, to other residents and to staff,” Donovan said.

Donovan added that Ford was reportedly “stomping his foot, talking over people, using profanity, not acting like a person who really wanted to change his behaviour.”

Donovan says he obtained accounts from three unnamed sources including a patient and staffer at the facility.

According to the report, Ford allegedly broke items at the facility, fought with other residents and spent hours alone in his private cottage on the facility’s grounds.

While Ford allegedly was forced out of his therapy group, he did continue with one-on-one therapy.

GreeneStone management was concerned that Ford was using drugs or alcohol during his time there, the paper also reported. A so-called “nature walk” on GreeneStone’s property has a secluded area at the far end where staff are concerned residents go to meet drug dealers or others who bring them alcohol.

I guess we have our answer as to why the Escalade was parked just outside the property for two nights until LM was arrested.

How does he have the nerve to come back with that speech thanking them for "saving his life"? He learned nothing. He didn't want to. It was just his only option to lay low after the second crack tape came out.

MOO
His continued arrogance astounds me only slightly less than Torontonian's apparent willingness to swallow his bullcarp. If he's not willing to accept accountability in his personal life, how can anyone believe he's capable of accepting responsibility and acting with any honour in his political life?

"I was born with this disease (alcoholism)... (and) when you have this disease you say things, do things that aren't you"

(like the racist slurs, the gangster chums, the conflicts of interest, the attacks on the Chief of Police, the casual invitations to friends to have sex with his wife in front of him, the lies)

... it is a tricky line Mr Ford is attempting to walk: just sick enough that he cannot be responsible for his actions, but not so sick to be disqualified from office.

Interview with rehab buddy LeeAnne McRobb: http://www.torontosun.com/2014/07/10/mayor-rob-fords-rehab-buddy-speaks-out

“(Ford) likes making up these little names he calls people,” McRobb told the Toronto Sun during a meeting at a restaurant in Bala, a town in Muskoka about 200 km north of Toronto. “He tends to call females ‘little birds,’ but he didn’t want to call me that. He called me a ‘little monkey’ because I’d be bouncing around and doing yoga and never (be) in a bad mood. Our friendship grew fast. He said I was his best buddy in rehab.

LMAO! How long was she in rehab for anyway? It didn't seem to work for her and how much did he pay her for the booze and dope he snuck in for him? JMOO.

ETA: Little BIRDS...didn't he slur the word BIRDS during one of the captured videos of him, the one he is threatened wrestling moves on someone? THis whole article and video is hilarious. Her room was near or next to his and she was only there 9 days before she was kicked out.

Oh yeah, LeeAnne says she met LISI. This is strange, she gets his keys and goes to Toronto to get his SUV from his house??? Try, pickup drugs from him and bring them back IMO.

Ford recommended she take it to a body shop he trusts in Toronto, she said.
“He was just trying to help me,” McRobb recalled. “He gave me the keys and said take (my truck) to this place. He said they were honest.”
McRobb claimed Ford’s friend, Sandro Lisi — who’s facing an extortion charge in connection with the mayor’s crack video — gave her directions from the body shop to Ford’s house so she could pick up the mayor’s Escalade.
However, when asked about Lisi, she said she didn’t wish to discuss it further.
“I don’t want to talk about that,” she said uncomfortably. “Sandro Lisi and all those people, I know them, I’ve met them to say, ‘Hi, how are you?’ But I have no affiliation with those people.
