Well I know I'm not fond of him. He has proven he does not belong in Politics. Right now I think it's about saving his life. For those around him. He is spinning out of control. Either he will get it or die. IMO.

OK he hasn't quit anything in any sort of 'come to jesus moment', he just still thinks that if he says the right things he can worm his way out of all the damage he has done. I don't think people are being harsh enough on him, he needs to leave office, he needs to RESIGN and walk away, after that I doubt he will seek any kind of treatment, seems to me that he was fine with his drug / alcohol use, it's the people who saw it that had an issue.

Please don't fall for the poor me routine Canada!! Rob doesn't want to be saved, he wants to party on and doesn't think it's anyone else's business.

Thanks for that info - amidst all the other jaw-dropping stunts yesterday**, the way the bodyguard was filming with his cell phone really concerned me. I was worried Ford intended to use the footage for intimidation. I guess there's no law against filming, but imo citizens should be able to attend city meetings without fearing retribution. Of everything, that really disturbed me.
So what if they aren't CUPE? Or what if they were laid off, or using a flex day? So much wrong with this.

OK so the crack-smoking happened in FEBRUARY? Is that what the Star is reporting? I thought Ford was saying it happened a about a year ago, in 2012. Very interesting. I think he may have done it more than once, not a big shocking surprise, I'm sure. JMO

There has been some confusion about this. Some say February and some say November 2012. We know the video first started to surface in February but is there any proof that the event took place in February? Does the actual ITO say February?

The police document states that the video was filmed in February 2013 and done “surreptitiously.” The document also states that “the Mayor was apparently in the company of several individuals at the time of the recording.” No identities of those people are given in the document.

Mayor Rob Ford was filmed “consuming what appears to be a narcotic” in February of this year, according to a new police document related to the infamous “crack video,” which would contradict the mayor’s repeated claims that he hasn’t used drugs in over a year.

The mayor told CNN on the weekend “I haven’t smoked crack in over a year” and has repeated it several times in other media appearances in the past few days. He told CBC the last time he did drugs was “a year ago some time.”

However, he also told Fox News Sunday:”I’ve admitted to using illegal drugs in the last year.”

From the surveillance noted at the link, it looks like RF has been doing drugs all along. There sure were a lot of "bags" dropped in his vehicle by his "body guard/driver".

No, but he has money. That is probably one of things keeping him and Doug Ford Jr. in office. Oh, and perhaps his unfiltered mouth.

It is sad indeed... at least he's getting stripped of power and staff.

Let's see if he hold his statement about losing weight and getting fit by Spring of '04.

Also blacked out is information that staff relayed to police about an Etobicoke bungalow where the video was believed to have been filmed.

I've read almost the whole thing, and what I'm really looking forward to is info on Ford's missing cell phone -- there's a rumour Anthony Smith had it on him when he was murdered. Also, there's talk that Ford is paying the utility bills on 15 Windsor, the crack house where the video was shot.

Cazart! According to CBC, the wiretap info from conversations between Lisi & Ford will be available, but probably not until Lisi's trial, which could be up to three years from now.

Also, the "Ford Nation" tv show has been pulled after one episode. Apparently, the one-hour show took five hours to tape and eight(!) to edit. At that rate, the production costs were prohibitively high even though it was highly-rated in terms of viewers.

Just another shady connection it seems. And does he really think that if he loses weight people will forgive him, forget all this turmoil and vote for him? I have no doubt that he's going to make an enormous effort to stay as clean as possible until the next election and save his binges for behind closed doors at his own home with trusted friends and family. I don't really expect any other controversy in that regard between now and then, but seriously? Can the voting public be swayed by out of sight, out of mind illusions?
