charlie - call me a skeptic and a Jason-did-it-er .... but you know I've never believed his business trip and nor have I given credence to the fax - ESPECIALLY for a darn leather purse! On about Day 3 I remember posting if it was for a Bengal Tiger I might understand the surprise urgency!

Also ----> their aniiversary had GONE (month before)...

Christmas was (back then) 7 weeks away.

IT WAS NOT CRITICAL ... not critical enough for JY to suddenly interrupt his business trip and start dealing with, and calling, family, personal gifts, orders, faxes and what not. Especially not critical enough to call Meredith out of the blue first time ever - and get her to go over there. Too contrived, I think!!

Ag! From the get-go, I just found his whole alibi far too cluttered. It was overkill - too busy - too well thought out. It was unnatural... y'know what I mean???

The man's a liar, JMHO. He used Meredith in one of the most appalling and deceitful ways - what reason has he to snub her the next day, after 'recruiting' her 24 hours earlier? Not on - in my book, that is.

Sadly, folk who are *addicted* to anything, hide and cover up. They learn to con, trick and have 'valid reasons' for X Y Z. Drugs, booze, money, gambling, blackmail, , secondary love interests. They get sharp at it.

One day, that feigned sharpness WILL do a U turn and when it cuts back, it cuts deep.

we reap what we sow & all that stuff....the "too busy" thing just kinda 'clicked' with me......

AGAIN, since i've not 'said' it often.....if JY had nothing to do with this, i'll be happy, but i don't see it happening that way....

& you're right ...the "sharpness" WILL come back around & cut really deep....

Sometimes, although I waffle, I really do find partnership in knowing there are so many 'out there' that understand - not necessarily through experience - but through listening, wtaching and contributing. We're total strangers in body, perhaps ... but close enough (lol unplanned, but apt, heh heh) in joining hands, heads, hearts and minds to keep conversing, keep it flowing.

I am totally shocked that none of the above has come to light - other than rhett fussell - not a single 15 minute famer seeking attention - nothing. Absolutely amazing! It is almost like persons associated with this case have locked zippers in their mouths - except for coming to forums, where anonimity reigns, for defensive purposes that is...amazing.

lol, hey i just got all 'sappy' over in the jury room....it's all good Polk...i use to hate that phrase, but i REALLY think it is, ultimately.....HUGE hug for you tonight, (with the passing of a family member) comin from Tennessee...i hope you can 'feel' the warmth of it....

Me too, charlie. Maybe I should have gone into packaging as a career, because I have this guy boxed, taped and ready for shipping BEFORE we even get more crime details, let alone perp details and descriptions. I even got the label right off my stock-shelf. (Me: bad, bad, bad...)

Maybe (oh boy, here she goes again...) there were inter-personal relationships that's going to blow this one in the public morality pool? (I don't mean 'intimate foursomes' ... I mean a tale of heightened duplicity and intrigue).

I'll officially take back my claim the fax was not true - but will re-shape my wording there to say "A fax was there - the reason to collect was false."

Tha alone tells me this man is a con-artist. A planner, a manipulator - and therefore - his cache of deceit might just be really huge. If he paid off his gambling debts, how would anyone KNOW he had debts. Maybe he had (as in once-had, not current) gambling & financial issues?

i'm with you on "the fax".....i'm still leaning toward there being SOMETHING that Meredith was suppose to 'retrieve' for JY......just like i still lean toward SOMETHING being in VA...(oops, hit submit in error)

funny how gambling debt still keeps comin back 'around'......that tiny bit of posting by wufdude is a little hard to get out of my mind....can't help it, although he/she stressed, in so many words, it wasn't factual....
