I'm getting back on the case now. Please stop discussing me...it's done. Thanks.
I read a post this am about someone thinking Jodi is more BPD/Narcissitic/histrionic than Sociopathic and I've been thinking about that. I think these lines can get blurred so it's not always cut and dried and I do understand that line of thinking.

The *feel* of Jodi to me is much like Scott Peterson...that empty soulness quality. The borderlines and histrionics i remember working with are FULL of drama. It'd erratic and nonstop. There isn't this inappropriate calm we see in Jodi or Peterson. Even when they are totally busted they slide seamlessly in to the next layer of lies with no sign of discomfort. (Scott a d Jodi I mean)

I don't think Jodi would necessarily make a habit of murder but in think she could choose that as easily as paper or plastic given the option to get out of an uncomfortable experience. I do think she has no conscience. So I agree with the caveat that she traverses all of these diagnoses.

And then I remember Shirley Turner who did in fact kill again and seemed to enjoy torturing her victims emotionally. I see a lot of Jodi in her.

god forbid she is some how set free and has a baby:(

I've been reading posts for the last couple of hours, so please forgive me for not remembering who posted the telephone recording information, but thank you!!
I now feel confident the recorded call can not be allowed. Here's what bugs me.
Why is it allowed to be discussed (in some detail) in the OS, knowing it will not be entered in evidence. And why, oh why, is the judge listening to it now (yesterday during the break).
Isn't this something that should have been dealt with long before the trial even started?

Statements made in OS that cannot be admitted as evidence, or proven in any way, reminds me far too much of a recent FL injustice.

1 - When you want to reply to a post, RIGHT-click on Quote.
2 - On the popup menu, select Open Link in New Tab.
3 - Write your reply in the new tab and post.
4 - Go back to the previous tab and continue reading. :)

THANK YOU!! Do you know how much time you just saved me?!?!?!

And a big shout out to whomever said F5 is refresh! Another time saver!! (it was probably you Carol2!!)

For those of you who may not have seen me post this before - if you accidentally close a tab you were working on, don't panic! Hold down CTRL + SHIFT + T and then bam! Your tab pops right back up and anything you were typing is still there ;)

I open all links, photos, YouTubes, etc. this way. That way I never lose my place. Anytime I click on a link that I think may navigate me away from my current page, I use the procedure above. Yes, it is a huge time-saver!

Glad I could help! :great:

I am certain that the discussions of sexting, sex phone calls, and explicit pictures (which I saw) won't be helping the defense. The jury will see that for what it is.

There will be a guilty verdict. As of 10.4 minutes ago, I am 110% sure.

OS = ?
I'm so tired and so Jodied-out that it just won't come to me. Thanks!

You aren't alone in your frustration. I haven't seen one bit of useful evidence that will help the defense. It's all about trashing the victim who is not here to defend himself. Oh, and a lot of "okays" and "reallys". Thankfully, Juan is doing a very good job of speaking for Travis.

MOO, IMHO. :-)

I also didn't realize how much JA mumbles or talks to JW when she starts getting nervous or uncomfortable! I tried multiple times to read her lips but she keeps them so darn close together it's too hard! Darryl gave an answer she didn't like and she mumbled something but i just couldn't make it out!

I'll be glad when this is over - as will my BF and my dogs! All I've been doing is analyzing this to death and the house is a wreck (and full of delivery cartons bc i'm too busy to cook! LOL)

I am 110.4% intrigued by you.

I gotta ask...why 10.4 minutes ago? I'm curious.

My brother died in a car accident late at nigt10 years ago. It took me 9 years to watch home videos and hear his voice. It was horrid. I cried and cried realizing that after all this time a small part of me still hoped it was a mistake. I never had time to grieve as I had the burden of getting my parents flights to be here. I also had to view him and make sure he looked the best he could to make it easier on my parents and his dhildren. I cannot imagine having to go through a trial or have his death analyzed. I hope you stay. I don't post much but i read everything. You are an inspiration to me. <3

Off-topic:
I am getting distracted by this poor young 5-year-old boy stuck for FOUR DAYS now in a bunker with a crazed nut. I'm surprised this story is not getting more attention from the media.

I have no idea why LE have not been able to rescue this child. Brings back horrible memories of the 1976 Chowchilla kidnapping...I was a teen then but I still remember it. Evil f***s 1976 Chowchilla kidnapping - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

i just still don't get what happened at the end of court yesterday - wilmont was acting weird and gigling like she was flirting w/ the computer guy them bam flashed those pics b4 they were entered into evidence - which imo looks like it was rehearsed w/ her witness - and on in session today they said that the broken external hard drive where thise pics were retrieved from was jodi's - not travis' - so who knows where they actually came from - is the defense just trying to get a mis trial so they can just keep putting it off until evidence is lost, or the witnesses can't remember well enuff to testify or until they die?

From what I could tell the computer forensics guy was handing Willmont the photos she asked for. I don't believe (MOO) he was in on her plan.

IMHO the defense is throwing any and everything they can on the wall hoping something will stick.

Will be interesting to see what Juan does on Monday. :-)

Opening statement

:)

Oh, I feel so stupid. Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son. I had to back and read the post within context. Thanks!

2 things:

1. During the first few minutes of Dear Zachary I swear I thought Jodi was her copy cat!

2. "I'm getting back on the case now." <-- for some reason i can't stop laughing at that statement! I have a perfect visual of you in a little hat holding a magnifying glass in one hand (true sleuth style) and a warm beer in the other!!! LOL
