Hey everyone! New here, but avid follower of this case.

I have not seen this mentioned here so I'll raise the point. Anyone take note of the fact that a freeweb proxy server was invoked just prior to Travis's gmail account being accessed. A proxy server hides the identity of a user to help make it more difficult to backtrack and see what sites they're hitting.

Now...why would Travis need to hide his own identity while checking his own email? The mystery user seems obvious to me.

And the proxy server and gmail were logged at 4am a few hours before they had sex. Isn't that the same time Jodi told police she arrived at Travis's house? She got in around 4am, they slept in and then had sex, and then she went Lizzie Borden on him.

Who's to say TA was even awake when she got there. She obviously had a key as Lisa Andrews testified Jodi would let herself in unannounced. Who's to say she didn't go Columbo on his computer while he was sleeping.

As someone mentioned earlier, I really hope State did forensics on her computer & her grandparents to see if she used that same web proxy often and if any records exist on her computer for the alias DeAnna Reed.

Hard to believe it, though, in the time period of early-to-mid 2007. External hard drives and portable drives were not nearly as common as they are now. And to have an internal drive in a separate case in 2007 - I think very few people outside of techs had them.

Carol, you asked earlier how I rewound the live feed today to view the pictures that the defense showed, and by the time I saw your post the thread had already closed.

Anyhow, I was watching the live feed at www.azcentral.com and when I realized I missed the pictures I simply went to the bottom of the live feed and clicked on the line where you see it playing and with my cursor I moved it back a couple of minutes until I found where they showed the pictures - of course, this can only be done while the live feed is still playing, unless someone else is able to capture it and post it on youtube.

Firstly, I apologize if this have been asked and answered already. Maybe I watch too many crime shows but I was wondering about the gun in this case. Have they been able to link it to Jodi's grandparents? Is is the right caliber? Has the bullet been linked to any at their house? When the gun was stolen was anything else taken? Did Jodi have access to the weapon? Was any kind of forced entry to the house when the gun was stolen?
If the gun can definitively be linked to JA then to me it shows premeditation and absolutely no self defense.

they never found the gun - its some where is the desert between arizona and ryan's house - imo - so they can't do any balistics to prove its the same gun - the burglary was suspicious according to LE, the guns were in a cabinet in house and not all were taken, in fact there was money lying around that they didn't take either IIRC

The grandparent's gun and the murder weapons have not been found.

Yes, the gun stolen was a 25 caliber as well as the bullets found in Jodi's possession. She also purchased a 25 caliber handgun the week before T's death. (IMO, that was to throw them off...look at my gun I just bought, it's never been fired, etc...)

Has the bullet been linked to any at their house?
I don't believe any were found at their house.

When the gun was stolen was anything else taken?
The other items that I remember are a stereo that was next to the TV and $30 cash that Jodi says was missing.

Did Jodi have access to the weapon?
I don't know what you mean.

Was any kind of forced entry to the house when the gun was stolen?
I don't believe so, I think they said they think the "intruder" entered through the back door.

I think there are about 20 other details that show premeditation but, it's too late at night to try to type them up. I'm on day 3 of an insomnia spell.

The gal behind Jodi with the chin length auburnish hair and well, kind of wild clothes, is her "mitigation specialist". She's the person assigned to digging up all kinds of info on Jodi's past/family/background to help argue mitigating factors during sentencing. So she's part of the defense team. And guess what? She used to be a Victim's Advocate. "Someone" said to me today "I don't understand how anyone could make that switch".

And the other blond that's bopping around the courtroom--long blond hair--is an asst. to the bailiff or something like that.

I wasn't aware she bought a 25 caliber before his death, but she did purchase a 9mm that she had hidden in the engine of her rental car the day she was arrested (July 14)

Very strange, but catchy music. I'm wondering if TA was actually the one watching these videos though. Maybe she was killing (pardon the unintentional pun) time when she first snuck into the house, and TA never even watched those videos. She had obtained other passwords of his, apparently without his consent, so maybe she was the one logging into the "Deanna" profile on his computer at 4 in the morning. She brought up those videos in her LE interview, so it's not a stretch for me to believe she was the one accessing and watching them, not Travis.

I'm also wondering about the "damaged" hard drive. Maybe she brought that, complete with ugly pictures, and plugged it into his computer and he didn't appreciate it. Maybe that's what she was referring to when she said he "threw a CD" after the picture files wouldn't load, or gave him a virus warning or whatever the heck she said. Maybe he did throw that hard drive and break it. Or maybe I'm just tired and need to go to bed.
