I guess it comes from both the want from a patient to just take a pill and be all better ( yeah right) and the money received from pharmaceutical companies to suggest certain medications.

I can't take credit for the prior posting about Refresh, but I will tell you my favorite way: F5. Yes, the F5 key at the top of your keyboard will refresh your page and is much easier (and safer, LOL) than a combination of keys.

You're right about that according to the defense opening statement. Allegedly this recording was made a couple of weeks before Jodi murdered Travis.

That said, Jodi has bigger concerns than worrying about breaking the wiretapping law.

OK, folks. I am going to get banned and I do not care anymore. I am sick of members asking another male member who I respect very much about a man’s morning erection. There are pages of post on sexual parts and if they are normal or not, the size of a man’s penis and anal sex. It has gotten totally off topic of why we are all here. We are here because a young man was murdered long before his time. If the DT wants to trash Travis that is something they have to live with. We have no control over any of what they say or do. I do not feel we need to join in with them. I do not need to hear about his penis, what it looked like, if he had sex with her. There are pages on this same subject. What Jodi “looks” like, if she is normal, her anus and if she had had anal sex.

I literally cringe thinking if for some reason a family member comes here and what they must think of what we are discussing. How disrespectful it is to Travis and his family. How disrespectful we have become to other members asking them a very personal question he should not have to explain to anyone for any reason. I thought we were all adults here and are aware of these things. Websleuths has always been known for being a victims advocate. How are we being that with the discussions that have been going on? I thought we were adult enough to maybe comment, move on and not have pages on all things sexual then knock the defense for doing the same thing.

I am all for having a good laugh at times. There comes a time it has gone to far. We have passed that point a long time ago. It is boarding on harassment with some posters on wanting answers, links and facts. IE men’s erections. Then wanting to discuss over and over the same thing. How many times does someone have to state their own opinion without having to say it again. How is it even being allowed to happen in the first place?

Don’t worry about reporting me I have sent a copy of my post to Tricia. I am ready to face the consequences of my post. I think it is time to step back and look at what we are doing. How childish this has all become. How disrespectful to Travis, his family and fellow posters we have become really sickens me. :furious:

The defense’s version of Jodi’s life with Mr. Brewer varies considerably from what Mr. Brewer stated. Mr. Brewer stated that Jodi moved out of his bedroom after the purchase of her breast implants because she was saving herself for her future husband. The defense's version is that they mutually ended their relationship. The defense also didn't mention that Jodi soaked Mr. Brewer for approx. $5000 in rent while she lived in his home for free.

The discrepancies in the defense's version of Jodi's and Travis' relationship are too numerous to type. I find it very interesting that in the defense's version, Jodi was continually breaking up with Travis, but Travis always pursued her.

You aren't alone in your frustration. I haven't seen one bit of useful evidence that will help the defense. It's all about trashing the victim who is not here to defend himself. Oh, and a lot of "okays" and "reallys". Thankfully, Juan is doing a very good job of speaking for Travis.

I have not seen the defense trash TA yet. I have not been able to see all the court proceedings. I think the witnesses for the defence seem to help the prosecution. All I have heard is that TA had sex, blah, blah...but IMHO..that is not trashing him...Who trashed him in court and what did they say? I don't pay no mind to Nancy Gracy or the dinosaur Jean..whatever her name is...I just have not heard of any trashing of TA.

I think she's actually talking to him (or trying to)...they just finished discussing her "changing" and them no longer being intimate. Nurmi asks about visitors coming by and whether it was before or after the convention. He says before and she mumbles something his way (around 40:31)

i lost my mom 10 yrs ago - who btw was the best person ever - just so suddenly, she came home from work and had an aneurysm - right after she had just had a physical - my step mom talked to me for many months and really explained to me that when you lose some one in such a fast and unexpected way, you have to grieve different - when some one is sick and passes you have the chance to start to come to terms - but when they are ripped away, it can take years - and that i should never feel guilty about how long it takes you to come to terms w/ it - and truly it has just been the past few years i can talk about her w/ out tearing up - and if i hadn't had some one explain it so well to me and have so much patience, i don't think i ever would have gotten past the hump - i would have just shoved it down and just hurt for the rest of my life i'm afraid - so never feel bad about the time it takes to grieve a lost loved one - and follow your inner voice to know when you are ready to move forward to see pics, movies and share stories - every one's journey is different

I respect your concern for the victim's family. I agree with some of your above post.

In all honesty, my post was not in response to yours or any post in particular.

I did notice the tone of this thread changed with some posters scolding others about mentioning sexual aspects of this case as though we aren't being bombarded by the sexual components in the actual trial. The intimate body parts will probably be discussed in trial next week again. We can't help but get drawn into the religious sexual defense being spun. To tell you the truth, I would like to figure out if Travis actually knew Jodi was there, and if they were intimate before she decided to harm him so fatally.

Victims' families will read about decomposition, stains, and all kinds of things on any of these forums. It just so happens in this case there's some sexual body parts. To me this site is about crime sleuthing. We care to find answers and Justice for the victims.

I didn't read one poster "scolding" any other poster. I just heard some have concern about other posters laughing and joking about the size, shape, color, etc. of the penis photos. Nothing that was said in those posts were in any way to add anything to the trial, the sequence of events or any other thing.

I'm done talking about it though because it is beating a dead horse and if people are okay with this type of behavior, that's not my business. And, it is not against TOS, so no one should need to worry about it anymore. I just personally would hope that no one would talk about my slaughtered child in this way. I'm also entitled to my opinion on this and I respect yours.

It is my understanding she was in Yreka and he was in Mesa. I'll look for verification on it and will post if I find anything.

If she was in California and she was recording the phone call without his knowledge then I don't see how it could be admissible in court. I wonder if he did approve it. There must be a reason defense brought it up in OS.
Also, do we know for sure that Jody was in California at the time of the recording?
