That would mean every man that has been attacked by a woman who slashed them to death or beat them in the head with a hammer would all be able to disarm the woman first. Women are perfectly capable of murdering larger men. She had him at his most vulnerable where everything on his naked body could be a target. He was in a small confined space.

Only a fool rushes forward into a crazy woman who is wielding a large and sharp 6 inch blade knife.

All he could do is try to desperately get away from her but like many other men he was unsuccessful.

The ME would have seen the signs of a stun gun.

I'm just thinking of my husband...I'm 5'4 and 115-120 and my dh is 6'0 and 200 and he could disarm me, unless I hit him with my stun gun. That's one of the reasons that I think Travis was shot first.

I have respect for the ME but he did say it was his opinion and opinions can be wrong. I've said it before, the show "I survived" is about folks that have been shot, stabbed and etc. and survived so I do think Travis was shot first, because it sounds the most logical to me. Jodi stole a gun from her grandfather and I know/think she shot Travis first. MOO and all that...

Someone asked many pages back (sorry for not remembering who) if Jodi called Travis and told him she was on her way.

Here is the list of calls from Jodi to Travis for 6/3/08:
12:37 pm 17 seconds
1:51 pm 170 seconds/= 2.83 minutes
8:16 pm 129 seconds/= 2.15 minutes
8:34 pm 49 seconds

Now the last purchase while in Pasadena was at 8:46 pm on 6/3/08

Unless Jodi used the phone that Gus gave to her, or a pre-paid phone then no Jodi did not call Travis to tell him she was almost there or anything. It is a 6 hour trip from Pasadena, CA to Mesa, AZ. If Jodi left for Mesa at 8:46 pm (the time of her last purchase) then she should have arrived in Mesa a little before 3 am. So either Jodi arrived closer to 3 am or she was killing time (an hour) so that she would not get there until closer to 4 am. IF Travis was waiting on her to arrive, why would she take an extra hour to get there?

I heard someone on HLN explaining the breakdown of the jurors in this case and the one I worry about is a young man in his 20's.

The drain has crevices that you can not clean all of. If you sit on your skin imprints into the holes of the drain therefore touching areas of the drain that you can never clean directly. I don't think sitting in a shower is gross if it is cleaned. The drain is weird though. Especially that he has his private parts directly over them. I just don't see someone one as clean as TA doing something like.

Ugh. What's creepy is you can see the flash from the camera in his eyes. I shouldn't have examined that photo for so long.

No, I really don't recall. I don't pay too much attention to things of that nature. But haven't we all made some type of slip? I'd hate to live in a fishbowl where every mistake you make is put under a microscope by the media and then put through a sieve to drain every last drop out of you. I guess that is the price you pay to be famous. jmo

Yes. That seems to be the price people pay nowadays, especially with the instant communication. Hard to hide anything nowadays like people were able to do in the past.

That is why I feel like such a loser on here.

If it was my son, I would be enraged that he was put up for the world to see, minding his own business.

I have no justification for myself except that I am interested in how JA came to be in life and how this will all end.

I really wish that we could predict or understand on how these monsters come to be. But maybe it is as a poster said above: all of the incorrect things have to come together for the perfect storm.

She has admitted to killing him. It's just a question of whether or not it was self-defense. I believe it was mentioned earlier that it has to be a majority who feel she is guilty of premeditated murder. I think the State has already proven that way beyond a reasonable doubt. So far she has not been able to prove TA beat her, blackened her eyes or routinely threw her down the stairs. Her word is worthless, IMO.

Jodi believes she is so smart but she just can't keep her mouth shut. Even in court she is writing like crazy, showing it to her attorney as if she is disagreeing with the testimony that is given. She has to have the last word and she thinks she can convince everyone she is right and they are wrong. She really hates Juan. jmo

Would really like to see what y'all think about this scenario regarding the movie "Psycho" and the photos we have viewed. I can see Jodi convincing Travis to pose for this effect and then bringing out the knife and "really" using it. I'm thinking that the duct tape was used to anchor the camera in place for the photo session.

A unanimous verdict is required to find her guilty, per the AZ constitution.

I too suspect something is wrong at some point in the shower. I think there is more to jodis plan on killing him than we have figured out. It keeps gnawing at me. I just don't think we have her intelligent psychotic mind transcribed yet!

Situation: Superbowl party

Time: 5 minutes before kickoff..

Camera scan to ATL (me!) on couch: On the television, some commercial comes on and in the middle of the party, ATL *exclaims Steely, that's Steely Dan!!!!!!!!* as there was a commercial or something on with an Emu or an Ostrich.

All eyes fall on ATL.

Someone asks who is Steely Dan? ATL responds, the Emu! That's Steely! Then ATL remembers, she is not on threads and these folks have no effin idea what I am talking about.....and to explain in front of 20 folks.........would be even worse than others thinking I have a tic!!!!!!!

I was very lucky that al-che-hol was involved with others and they moved on. They didn't cart me off in a straight jacket, and they didn't even inquire further.

So...........for those that want to say Jodi is delusional............and scitzo....... remember, there may be a basis for outbursts that seem cray cray to others!

As I said before, friends do NOT KNOW I follow trials here, so I couldn't explain without being looked at even more negatively than I was saying I knew the Emu on the advertisement.

Gosh and golly...........I have held this in for 4 hours wanting to tell you folks!

There are a lot of people in this world who have had to deal with someone who has stalked them, or they know of a family member who has been victimized by someone like this (not with these results) but these types of people are everywhere. It's just the violent ones that are rare. But it makes you think what if you just happened to say the wrong thing to this person. This could have happened to you. Scary. I think the autopsy photo or TA's throat will convince someone who is hesitant that this was not a case of self-defense. No way, no how. jmo
