thats is just beyond disgusting - and from a "christian ministery"?? what they want to convert religions they don't approve of :furious: - is there any way to get that taken down ??

It's not from the charity the proceeds are being donated to. The auctioner just chose them out of a big list, from what it looks like.

How are uncensored crime scene photos out there, would that be police dept leaks? OR would the media have them uncensored, and that is where it could come from.

There are pics out all over. It could even be a screen shot. The only one to blame is the sick person who listed this for sale.

This isn't necessarily true. At least not for auctions like this. eBay does have a program that allows percentages of proceed from auctions to go to pre-approved charities. This auction appears to be one of them (Notice the ribbon next to the item name, and the notice in the area above the user-editable area.

With that being said, this doesn't look like anything Arias has painted before, but the seller has 100% positive feedback and I can't imagine they'd risk losing their pretty good account by selling a fake picture. I don't know what to think, except that's creepy as all hell.

:twocents:

ETA: Don't hold the actual charity against this. They have absolutely zero control over what items are put up for auction like this, from what it looks like.

Sorry...but anyone who has the nerve to not only alter a violent crime scene and then lie and say it was drawn by the killer, does not make me think that they would be in any way involved with any Christian charity. I don't believe it and won't believe it. Whoever did this is one sick and evil person.

I just reported this. "Christian ministry"??? Are you kidding me? This is a rendition of a CRIME SCENE PHOTO. :furious:

I also just wrote the "lister" a private email.

I reported it as well!!! Hope you are feeling better, btw!!

That doesn't matter. They still should not be allowed on Ebay and I would guess that Ebay didn't even realize what it was.

I was responding to Stephanie who wondered how the uncensored crime scene photos got out.
I certainly was NOT condoning this carp.

I'm thinking that they were leaked because I have seen them more in this case than I ever have in another.

I am going to follow this person and report it to Ebay every day. I wrote to the seller and told her/him that I would have the account shut down if it was the last thing I did.

I've posted twice now on their Facebook page. Is it possible this organization has no idea this has been listed? Well, now they do.

I wrote to both the seller and reported it to Ebay, so we will see..

That is how I see it too

Huh?

They're not personally involved with the charity, but 80% of the sale amount will go to the charity. Anyone can choose to run an auction like this for any charity that eBay has approved; it's part of their "Giving Works" program.

there was a flub in LE where they accidently posted all the crime photos early on in the case - they were taken down quickly, but not in enuff time for many ppl to copy - i have seen some very bad ones :(

The crime scene photos are still online. I believe it was the autopsy photos that were accidentally available for a short time.

Well then I've let this charity know who is associating with them. It certainly tarnishes them. They may know nothing about this.

I agree. It's almost like they're using the charity so that it becomes "acceptable" (I'm not saying it is).

The way I see it is that the seller is riding on the coattails of the charity, making people think it's for a "good cause". The seller, however, will still get 20% of the sale value. If it sells right now for $2k, the seller gets $400.

Kinda depraved.

Wow. How many times did I read that and it did not sink in.

I guess he was oblivious to them being there.

She is so gutsy to do this. How would she have a clue that someone was not coming in at any second?

Just wow!

This is why I think she waited to kill him til later in the day - had to make sure the roommate was gone, but who knows?
