Was TM drinking before or after HE murder?

Definitely after, and probably before too. They showed texts from SM to TM's sister at the first bond hearing where they talked about how TM has been hitting the sauce a lot lately. That conversation took place either Jan/Feb, a month or so after the murder.

Yes ZooSleuth, I remember the texts now. I beLIEve her drinking if escalated after HE goes missing is/or can be very telling. JMO

My understanding was that the charges came from SM's statement about his activities with TM. I don't believe there is any video from a business. If SM's admission, or claim, is the basis for those charges, I think we can expect to see them potentially dropped after the defense takes that on. Or, it might be part of a larger deal.

As for the alleged situation with TM and the younger person, it's not IE if she was sending pics to someone. IE pertains to public places.

If they have video I just meant there was a video of their vehicle in a parking lot that matched up with the time/location in SM's admission, not video of them... I don't want to make anybody vomit so I'll stop there. I agree it's pretty likely those charges will fly out the window before the trial starts.

I am aware that IE has to occur in public, I should have been more specific with that statement. I was questioning if it's possible the pic sent to the boy was taken during the supposed IE incident and the pic contained GPS & timestamp data. Highly unlikely that's the case though. I'm just throwing stuff out there to kill the time while we wait for the case to resume.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Someone had questioned previously whether or not the pics TM sent HE could be part of the IE and I thought you meant something similar.

I really don't think they have anything but SM's claims. I could be wrong. But I think the State cast a wide net and hauled in everything they could because they lack hard evidence, and by their own admission, they have "stuff" (their words!) that in combination with other "stuff" is what gave them their probable cause.

I've always thought that unless the IE is directly related to the crime against Heather and can be proven, it's going to get tossed.

And I guess we're all killing time!

Come to think of it, the texts sent between AC and SM about TM's drinking were after the fact. Another assumption on my part, though, has always been that alcohol and/or drugs were involved that night. If we're to believe they were out having sex in the car all over Horry County, at their ages, as parents, having been married as long as they have, I can't imagine that was sober. I know, I know. Assumptions and all that.

Talk about dumb and dumber...

Heather was no longer in contact with Mr. SMarmy. By all accounts she was totally leaving him alone. No contact. Moving on. That's what "The Mrs" wanted or claimed to want. But no. After 6+ weeks of zero, zip, nada contact, that's not good enough. Heather must die anyway even though she was doing the exact right thing--moving on with her life, no longer involved with Mr. SMarmy, no longer in contact with Mr. SMarmy.

Way to go paranoid/cray-cray wifey. You murdered someone who had stopped all contact with your cheating SMarmy husband and was starting to get her life together. I suppose going forward you'll have to kill any other female he cheats with too.

I always wondered if in those 6 weeks TM found out she had more competition with HE and SM might of left her because of the situation. Just a guess on how puffy HE got in her last known photo. We will never know...............

Remember how TM initially claimed that she didn't care about SM's affair because she had a boyfriend on the side of her own? (This may have been mentioned in her very first FB post related to HE.) It's funny how much her tune has changed over time. Now, she's all like...

"My family is an amazing, deeply loving and caring, Christian family who just so happens to be a victim of circumstance. All of these problems are the result of a brief and impulsive lapse of judgment on SM's part and only because HE preyed on his weaknesses and he fell victim to her devious ways. And we're desperately trying to overcome his transgressions and get right with the Lord so that we can move on with our God-fearing lives. But we can't do that because these evil prosecutors are falsely accusing us of murdering that poor young missing girl, despite the fact that the entire community who knows us believes us. We are so blessed to have their support."

"This entire county is on a witch hunt out to get my family and destroy our lives, and we can't even find jobs anywhere in SC, much less get a fair trial... because we're so hated! Not a regular poster but I've followed this case almost since the beginning. I've been going to a beach south of MB for a vacation every year since I was a kid.

Do I remember correctly that TM sent texts/emails/photos(?) to HE that HE showed to her coworkers? Maybe I'm just imagining this, or maybe it was the texts they released at one of the hearings--which have been referenced above, i.e., meeting the MRS. But I thought there was more to it--like raunchy photos of TM/SM together. (And I'm not thinking of the speculation that TM sent HE photos of their indecent exposure on the night of her disappearance.) I feel like it was in an interview with a co-worker, but again maybe my imagination.

This is what I remembered...that it didn't pertain to the crime or its timeline, but I didn't recall the details. The state will presumably use this to show TM's rage at Heather over the affair. I can see the state's position that it goes to the circumstantial case, but I don't think an IE charge will benefit the state. Nor do I think SM's claim and some taunting texts with the images will fly for an IE conviction. I think it just looks like the state is grasping. The defense will not let that one slide. JMO

And let's not forget that in the now famous social media rant TM called SM "stupid" for all the trouble that was bubbling up after Heather was missing. In fact, SM, HE, TE, meanie LE, and the entire cast of characters were either stupid, crazy, or out to get TM and family. She's always the victim.

Yet all roads lead to her and her own words.

I want to see her have the mother of all meltdowns in a courtroom when all of these contradictions and name-calling events collide and it's her being characterized as unhinged and malicious, enough so to commit murder. :clap:

I've maintained the same theory all along. I don't think it was planned. I think SM was out working that night at one of his jobs...and thought he'd call HE for a quickie or to see if he could slip back into her life. He called from the payphone because TM had his phone or he didn't want to leave a trail for her. I think that is the reason for the "he said he's leaving his wife and wants to see me" excuse. I don't think there was any hidden agenda at that point to do her harm.

But then when she perhaps balked or stalled...and he wasn't at the payphone when HE called back, she started calling his cell. I think at that point, when his cell phone was at home and HE was calling it, TM had it and got so mad she insisted on getting rid of the threat immediately. I believe once SM got home, she confronted him. He may have lied about making the initial call, or he may have come clean. But either way, I believe TM forced him to call HE back and say he'd meet her at PTL.

I believe TM rode in the backseat of the truck ducking down as they arrived. Once SM and TM arrived, he pulled up, HE jumped in the passenger side. As soon as the door closed, I think TM strangled her or attacked her. Remember, it needed to be a way to leave virtually no DNA evidence such as blood etc. I think that fits the bill unfortunately.

All of that is speculation of course, but it seems the most plausible explanation for the calls, timeline, lack of a "scene" at PTL etc. The only problem with my theory is...that means these two idiots were somehow able to hide her body so well that noone has been able to find it. That's the only part where I feel perhaps my theory falls apart since I don't think these two are so bright and thoughtful.

Yes, this must be what I was thinking of--and the 'marital relations' and sent photos did or did not take place the night of her disappearance? It's really a bit unclear what they are referring to in this quote. The IE charges are for events that occurred that night, whereas there may have also been some photos of sexual positions sent to HE (that she showed to co-workers)? I still feel like I saw a blip of an interview with a co-worker who said she had seen some photos on HE's phone.

Nevertheless, it's hard to believe that HE would agree to meet SM anywhere if she had received explicit sexual photos of SM/TM that night.

Tammy was not letting SM out of her sight at that time. She was even going to his jobs with him.
IIRC Heather's number was blocked from the M's phone, so they couldn't know who was calling until it was answered. Although that could have been earlier speculation that I am now remembering as fact. It seems likely that Heather would block her number and not speak if Tammy answered.

Originally I thought the murder occurred in the truck, but since LE went over it and didn't find evidence or body fluids, I am leaning towards another location (but that could change tomorrow). I think the luring was premeditated by both and Tammy demanded that they directly confront Heather together. After weeks of non-stop threats, coercion, screaming, abuse, handcuffs??!! & whatever else TM seems to be capable of, SM relented. IMO they left PTL and went somewhere to have a confrontation. I don't think SM planned a murder in advance, maybe TM...unless certain rumors are true which would give both of them a motive for murder.

Heather's body...see all the green in this map. Thousands of acres of unoccupied wetlands. It would not be difficult to hide a body where it wouldn't be found for a long time. Aynor teen Zachary Malinowski hasn't been found either and those two that have been arrested for his murder are not criminal masterminds.
