To verify his claim of being in jail and why.

If anyone from the firm actually looked, they would have seen a current charge of Medicare fraud.

Wouldn't you agree that would be considered relevant info for a suit involving money? Hmmmmm.

PTF, Debt Collection attorneys have massive caseloads. As a result, they are really not that ambitious. I really don't think knowledge of SM's incarceration or why he was incarcerated would have made any difference to them anyway. IMO

I have to disagree with you on the medicard fraud charges being relevant to the Portfolio collection case. I don't believe the collection attorney would even attempt to use this to support their case. Even if they tried, I doubt a Judge would allow it because SM has not yet been convicted of Medicare fraud. IMO

These theories are certainly good and believable.

My question then would be for LE: How is it that you were unable to find one strand of Heather's hair during your search of the compound and vehicles? There had to have been be plenty of them transferred if there was any type of struggle or confrontation. What about finger nail scrapings? Surely you performed that on the M's upon their arrest, no?

My guess would be tarp and duct tape.

Does anyone remember dog searches?? Were there any hits on property?

There were multiple searches led by CUE in various areas with SAR dogs (in several wooded areas located near her apartment and around the PTL area where her car was found). There were not any hits in those searches, to my knowledge.

I think I remember seeing pictures of K9s in news reports covering the search warrant, but I can't say that for certain. I'm pretty sure if they were used, they didn't hit on anything (or if they did, it wasn't reported in the media). However, they didn't issue the search warrant until late February---2 months after HE was reported missing.

TCM still appears to have plenty of disposable income for cosmetics.

Facing a costly murder trial, I wouldn't be spending money on non essentials.

TCM wears the pants......I remember the story of SM agreeing to be handcuffed to the marital bed after he strayed.

Yes, wasn't it SM's attorney who spoke about it at the 2014 bond hearing?

Several articles describe how Tammy punished her hubby after his fling:

"Tammy Moorer also put her husband on lockdown,

even going so far as to handcuff him to their bed at night while she slept so he could not sneak out,

password protecting his phone so only she could use it,

and accompanying him on work and personal outings from their home
, Elder said.

Sidney Moorer agreed to the restrictions to save his marriage, authorities said. "

I didn't realize that TM is allot bigger than SM..............or is it the photography angle? How much bigger she would be compared to HE?

In this photo, she does appear to be larger than SM, but, as you did, I have to question the camera angle. She is definitely leading and ahead of him on the sidewalk. Looks as if she's dragging a toddler with a beard, lol. I'm also not sure of the height and weight difference between TM and HE, but from what I've seen in pictures, Heather was tiny and Tammy appears so much larger. In looking at this photo, when she is wearing this dress, you can get an idea how large she really is by looking at her calves. They are as large as some men's. IMO MOO

I don't remember them standing close enough so I could compare their heights, but close enough to tell that she is bigger in overall size than he is. Maybe not as tall, but she is very tall. I'm short and I felt like a dwarf next to her.

Sidney agreed to those restrictions to save his life and not his marriage. JMO

But that hat in the side by side is hiding his real height. And if you look at the lawyer , in the other picture, closest to SM in the pic with TM, he looks much taller than SM, so the angle didn't take away his height.

Got to thinking about those severe restrictions SM was under. He may have felt that the only way to get TM to free him from her strangle hold was to get rid of Heather.

We already know TM had plenty of motive and had the meanness in her to take out Heather but I have always struggled with SM since he did like Heather. But when you think about the "prison rules" he was living under from the Warden TM then it is not too much of a stretch to give SM a real motive as well. He may have hit his breaking point and thought it was the only way to get the cuffs off at night.

Those 2 make me want to puke just thinking about them.

I happened to be catching up on the Erin Corwin case (currently awaiting trial) and read this linked article:

http://www.oakridger.com/article/20160128/NEWS/160129878

in which it was reported that two judges had been disqualified by peremptory challenges--one by the defense and one by the prosecution.

"A peremptory challenge is a legal motion that allows any parties in a criminal court case to disqualify one judge without providing any clear reason."

Is this a CA law, or is it true in most states?
