I'm glad Shanna Hogan's book doesn't come out until October... that will give her plenty of time to write about the trial, guilty verdict, and sentencing. Though the trial should be a book on its own. More like a trilogy on its own.

I am (probably the only one) happy to hear what the DV expert and other defense experts have to say. I want to know that when JA is convicted and found guilty she was given every possible opportunity to defend herself and it just didn't tip the balance.

I'm not simply because what they were told is based on the word of a pathological liar. It would be impossible for them to give a fair and accurate profile of someone that can never tell the truth. I don't want to sit there and listen to someone talk about "poor Jodi".

Just got home from taking my dad for chemo so if this has been discussed already I am sorry.
But LITTLE MISSY screwed her story/lie up again yesterday big time. When Nurmi got up to question/clear up JA about the book of Morman, He said did you talk to your bishop ?
And she said yes, after june 4th I repented? < my word... -about the sex, but I didn't tell him about what I did to Travis. Are you kidding me???? JA lived in california and her bishop was in Arizona! She got confused WHEN SHE WENT to see the bishop, which is a big fat lie in itself, but now, that she said it was after June 4th....Well Jodi/KN's got some splainin to do :giggle:

I caught that too but knowing Jodi she will say she went to one in California. I don't think she practiced mormonism once she returned to California. Her reason for joining was Travis and to put up a front that she was a devout Mormon to Travis and his friends. Once she went back to CA she most likely didn't bother with keeping up the front.

I think the trial will be over and a verdict reached. In October we'll still be hearing from JA on the stand speaking on her own behalf in the penalty phase though. I predict she bores the Judge to death at that point and then we'll start over with her second M1 trial for killing her. :floorlaugh:

I want to see what her experts have to say BUT I have a horrible feeling Nurmi or Wilmott is going to start their testimony with "when Jodi was a child ...", and drag the poor jury through every day Arias described on direct. "How did that make her feeeeel?"

Verdict has been reached. Every one of Dr Drew's 12 jurors last night found JA Guilty.

It seems logical that AL will be next to testify-- has anyone heard confirmation of that or are we just thinking practically?


I'm sure I will kick myself for this later (I'm flexible like that lol) but hopefully the lesser of two evils (JW) will do the direct exam and at least keep the pace moving quicker.
