See, here's a problem. Beth says if the Judge allows it, expert will explain the difference between instrumental homicide and reactive homicide, which Beth says is the difference between first and second degree murder. Beth says this is for the Jury to determine, not an expert. But, if the Judge allows it, he will say the PTSD only shows up in reactive homicide and she has that, therefore this was not premedititated.

Earlier in the day when JM was objecting to the new things this expert brought to court, I heard discussion of the messy crime scene shows it is reactionary homicide because you wouldn't expect that in premeditated murder.

I keep saying, imo, this messy crime scene was because the gun jammed and the plan went wrong--but now you can see some of the implications of a knife first homicide. Prosecution has to address this, imo.

IMO

Personally, I think President Obama can sit up there, tell the jury all about the different designer-diseases there are and....all the deviations and variations of murder charges and Jodi will STILL get convicted and sentenced to death.

No one is buying this bullchit. She's so transparent....she's almost invisible!!!

Dr Samuels should just say Jodi was a good girl turned evil.

  • #943
Nothing makes an impression on Jodi's memory except oral/anal sex and the exact dates of such occurrence, and whether she was kissed afterwards, and strawberry frappies of the past. What's that condition called?

(My Bolding)

Has she ever been to Hawaii and if so, have they accounted for all of their citizenry?

? Hawaii is a US state...

We already know she was calculating, clandestine, cunning and conniving. Hardly the attributes of an emotionally challenged woman. Everything she did, she did with intent.
And if this "PTSD" happened afterward then that's like Jodi suing Travis' estate because he made her break her finger!

I mean, her audacity blows my mind. I know desperate people go to desperate measures but there's a cut off point when it just becomes outrageous and insulting!

She effortlessly lied to people as she made her pilgrimage across 3 states to kill Travis and methodically was able to get rid of all incriminating items before she brought her rental car back!

If anything her mind was super SHARP!! She even had the presence of mind to call him after she bludgeoned him to death so everything would appear status quo.

Any way.....just how much is this bozo doctor being paid anyway?

BBM

Not ONLY did she call him after she slaughtered him, but she told us how she deleted the first few attempts because she wanted it to sound 'normal and natural.' :what:

JA is doing something very, very sneaky here. Go to 11:05. See that orange file? What do you think she's doing?

I think she wrote a note, then slipped it in the folder. But it kinda looked like she took something out between her fingers.
I wonder if the DT counts their paper clips. She may fashion a shank..lol

Anyone remember the guy that snuck the cyanide pills??
* we can only dream*

can you imagine the feeling of isolation, if you can't turn to a parent? If you can't turn to a friend? If you can't turn to a professional to seek some help? The turmoil must have been incredible
Didn't see her turning to a cop for release of her torment did you?
Usualy when a person murders somebody they kind of weigh the options about turning to a professional, isolation,or turning to a parent or doing life in prison.
Funny how they will rather put up with the lonely ,isolated, turmoil than tip the prison scale in their favor.
Hard to believe someone with Dr in front of their name can spiel this crap.

I don't think this guy is qualified to testify about that, and it sounded like the judge already ruled that he can't, but the DT is trying to sneak it in. Is that right?

"If the memories aren't there, they ain't there."
-- Dr. Richard Samuels' testimony, today 03/14/13.

Really... so when does the 'transient' bit come in, hm?

Or..
"She's just lying"
TotallyObsessed, today 3/14/13

I am not sure if I can stomach much more either. I may take a break until closing arguments. This trial is giving me headaches and making me so mad.

I was thinking that too. My other concern ...All of this sittingonmyazztime / RedVineeating ratio is going to catch up with me soon.

nancy grace is covering this now lol

Hopefully you are right!!

However, she isn't totally transparent....still saw that smirk on her face while Samuels was testifying.

I see that. She was writing, then seems to be feeling around the pocket of the folder for another pencil, or eraser. Or cell phone :fence:

Doesnt look large enough to be a pencil...hope popo(police) will check booklets for meds.

They are talking about Jodi's expert's problems back in New Jersey. In fact the producer is reading the court records on TV.

HLN is now talking about Samuels being fined in NJ. He bartered his services for dental services. Samuels was fined and JC said the state will bring this in and find any other thing on him. JC thinks the judge will let the state use it.
