I just listened to Dr. Samuels testimony again and I thought, If this is the best they can do, they must be desperate to find someone to testify on JA's behalf.
I am sure that was not an easy task

From NG show: The psychologist apparently lost his license to practice in NJ.

He was bartering services from a patient's father for his dental services. He was supposed to be making psychological assessments for the father's child's custody case. Instead of this, he was stringing the treatment out to get his teeth fixed. Unethical.

You fill my canine and I'll tickle your hippie-campus.

i would love Mr Martinez to question the quack if it's possible in that state of fog, that she can correctly navigate to Mr Burns house ...which is hundreds of miles away and that she'd never visited before.

Must be a miraculous recovery!!

There's something off with this guy! DIDNT the defence check him out or are they just desperate

Totally desperate! Any surprise? Would a legitimate doctor/psychiatrist/psychologist testify on this defendant's behalf after knowing what happened to Travis? This entire testimony is pathetic.

MOO

So WS found this info on the good Dr. Fog? Did someone send it to NG or did they read it here? Also, I missed the beginning of the afternoon because my phone froze up but I could get twitter and saw tweets about him and OB-GYN? What was that about?

"Another widely disputed cause of TGA is excessive contact with bleach products" .... Jodi did bleach her hair. :floorlaugh:

I can't get it to post correctly. Google this:
Transient Global Amnesia
Allan B. Wolfson, MD, University of Pittsburgh, Department of Emergency Medicine, Allan Wolfson, MD
Presentation of TGA

I understand, but maybe just wait until AFTER Juan gets a crack at this quack. It may make you feel better.

I can't wait to see Juan question this guy!!!!!!

See, here's a problem. Beth says if the Judge allows it, expert will explain the difference between instrumental homicide and reactive homicide, which Beth says is the difference between first and second degree murder. Beth says this is for the Jury to determine, not an expert. But, if the Judge allows it, he will say the PTSD only shows up in reactive homicide and she has that, therefore this was not premedititated.

Earlier in the day when JM was objecting to the new things this expert brought to court, I heard discussion of how the messy crime scene shows it is reactionary homicide because you wouldn't expect that in premeditated murder.

I keep saying, imo, this messy crime scene was because the gun jammed and the plan went wrong--but now you can see some of the implications of a knife first homicide. Prosecution has to address this, imo.

IMO

I hear what you are saying but IMO, and Jodi said it herself.. she "never killed anyone before." She obviously watched a lot of TV/movies; she chipperly said on 48 Hours the jail booking was JUST like what you see on TV.. What she didn't say was killing someone with a knife is sooo NOT what you see on TV! I think she intended on the murder to be up close and personal, but with TA in a vulnerable position (naked and sitting in the shower) but what she didn't plan on is how much he would fight for his life and how chaotic and bloody it would be.
And I guess in my theory, she went there with the weapons and she was going to kill him if he would not take her to Cancun/take her back/etc... so when he wouldn't take her back or whatever, she went on with her plan to kill him.
IDK if that makes sense when I say it.. but yeah either way if what they are saying isn't self-defense which is what their 100% defense story is at this time then I don't see how it could be presented as defense testimony because it isn't fitting in with what they are trying to say?
:moo: Hopefully I am typing coherently.. :please:

Not only that, she remembered driving into the sun (west).....interesting she remembered she needed to take that detour through Las Vegas so she wouldn't need gas in AZ!!!

HLN is now talking about Samuels being fined in NJ. He bartered his services for dental services. Samuels was fined and JC said the state will bring this in and find any other thing on him. JC thinks the judge will let the state use it.

What is is bartering with Nurmie? His new client list??

I see that. She was writing, then seems to be feeling around the pocket of the folder for another pencil, or eraser. Or cell phone :fence:

Yeah it almost seems like she may be setting up to try to steal the pen or marker or something else and sneak something back to her jail cell.
