trial day 32: the defense continues its case in chief #92

I can't imagine what it would be like to have my child accused of murder. I'm sure she's spent plenty of days and nights in tears and if she's able to still smile then I give her a lot of credit for being able to push through the incredible amount of grief she must feel. I just don't see the point of criticizing her mother.
I can't imagine having my loved one murdered and then having to sit in court and see the defandant's family acting like fools. I give Travis' family credit for pushing through their grief and conducting themselves in the dignified, respectful way expected by the court. I would actually have respect for the defandant's family if they conducted themselves with the gravitas warranted by the situation created by their relative.

Dr. Samuels just spun the ninja story as a "disconnect from reality", clarifying by saying that her mind created a "new reality" in order to deal with the stress (PTSD) she was undergoing at the time. This also accounted for her leaving a voice message on TA's answering machine after "the incident".
Jodi has already clearly testified that she created these lies in a knowing (ie. rational) attempt to mislead any investigation away from herself. It was NOT her irrational mind creating an alternate reality which she had no control over!
Get Real!

if you don't have to be an expert to see blood spatters, then why is she having her expert testify about that/

.

Oh my goodness....how is the Judge allowing the ham hock to testify to this crime scene stuff?

Prior to the FCA fiasco, I would have said NO WAY. I no longer have that kind of faith in the "system" though...I can just hope for the best and trust that Juan will slaughter this clown's "testibaloney".....but I wouldnt be surprised at a jury that buys this carp...disappointed and heartbroken (again) but not surprised.

Yep, I'm with ya. After the CA mess, I have ZERO faith in our system or jurys wading through the crap and using common sense. This jury may be better, but maybe not. Who ever knows? But I am sick to death of all of this poor Jodi garbage. I can only hope that the jury is as well. I mean, at least she gets to live. She took that from Travis, and that should always be the main focus of this trial. And I really dislike this judge also.

Wilmott may look and sound like an overly cheerful Minnie Mouse, but she is part of yet another sneaky underhanded defense team putting forth their clients lies!

"because if there is blood found in different areas, you know the person moved". Ms Wilmott what about arterial spray or castoff blood from a weapon?

Keep objection juan!! see how they like it!!!

get her flustered and frustrated.

i am beyond pizzed at this!

Okay so the whole dropped motion this morning was.... we won't use the slides, we'll just have him talk about the scene being premeditated vs. spur of the moment.

This judge outrageous.

I don't understand. This man is a PSYCHOLOGIST and now he's testifying about blood spatter and the crime scene?!?

:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Hi Zsa Zsa: thank you for your succinct description of our legal system which imbues the defendant with all of his/her rights and screw the plaintiff/dead victim. it is sad and it is angering to the max.

It really is sad, but these rights to protect the innocent. That being said, it is my opinion she's going down. How could you not know this is BS

Judge should not allow this witness to have anything to say about the crime scene. He's only a expert because he read a Time magazine article on the brain. He didn't watch enough CSI to be an expert on crime scenes, not in my opinion. Useless testimony!

OMG, the Judge let him answer when Juan objected that Samuels is only suppose to be a psychologist not a crime scene expert. The Judge is allowing too much, IMO.

What's his observation about the crime scene?

It was very messy and she didn't clean up, therefore it was not premeditated. If she were to have planned this crime, it would've been organized and tidied up.

Oh really, is that how murder scenes go? Murderers have a reputation for cleanliness? They anticipate the bloodbath that's going to ensue? They plan well for the aftermath? This is how we judge premeditation vs self defense... is this really what this joker is going to say?
In that case no inexperienced killer has ever premeditated a murder apparently. And we wonder where the phrase 'junk psychology' stems from? ;)

JW is getting frustrated that JM keeps "talk blockin" her leading witness to specific areas of testimony..

Also think the judge's is getting a lil peaved at DT today & their trickery of getting info out there even if JM objects

Grrrr
