I had to work today so I just got around to watching JM demolish, I mean cross examine the good doctor. My favorite parts? When JW objected to JM referring to her client as a liar. I don't even know how she kept a straight face with that. And when the doctor insisted that if he had a patient who was constantly lying to him he would dismiss them and not work with them anymore. Either he is a bigger idiot then he appears if he didn't know she was constantly telling whoppers or he was lying himself.

My favorite part was when he asked if he had a memory problem. HAHAHA.

He had it coming with his "I guess" Jodiesque answers.

I would feel sorry for him but I don't buy for a second that he believes Jodi.

Oh, that Vinnie After Dark was a joke. The shelves weren't the type that had pegs that I saw, solid looking built shelves reinacting Travis' murder. Did I miss something? I'll never watch again. They proved the network isn't reliable as usual. Bozo on? yah like I will watch that creep again. I had to watch just to see how they can skew the public's opinion. I don't like that and hope all missing children cases stay away from HLN. jmo

Were the jail visitation records sealed like the defense team requested? It would be very interesting to see how many saw her like you said!

I'm a lot more interested in finding out how many times Samuels actually saw her. I'm convinced he never had her do that test and did it himself going by his notes (if he actually had any) or whatever the defense attorneys wanted him to say. It's just not believable that he went to the jail to test her and doesn't remember to bring the answer sheet she's supposed to fill out for the test, and the answers are written on plain paper by HIM when there's no reason she couldn't have written her own answers. I flat out don't believe he actually bothered to give her that test at all.

LOL, yes it is the distance one. But I was talking about the yahoos on HLN (Baez and company) who were arguing for Jodi's version of events but couldn't explain why there was no stippling on Travis if he was shot at such a close range.

He wasn't shot at close range. They were wrong and acted out something that didn't (couldn't) happen. Why this didn't occur to them is beyond me. It's just dumb.

Per you (above)... [They] "couldn't explain why there was no stippling on Travis if he was shot at such a close range" - because HE WASN'T. Was Mike (I know his last name - but drawing a blank) the LE expert there?

I can't believe they did such a shoddy job. I think they threw this new 'show' together WAY too fast - and are making amateur mistakes that may very well come back to bite them. Really disappointing.

Except for Beth Karas, all the HLN talkers all get facts wrong. It's so annoying that we know the case better than they do, and I'm not getting paid! :furious:

The picture of Travis' face in the shower says it all. It wasn't a fun photo shoot. It was a documented killing. Sick woman.

It was so nice to see that windbag deflated so completely. Juan is a master at his craft.

Who, what? TTIIUWP!

Whoever that woman is that's always sitting at the table right behind the defense counsel's table was wearing a blouse today that was unbuttoned and spread out practically to her navel. I kept looking at her expecting her to suddenly jump up and start doing a strip tease. I just can't believe that she was allowed to look like that in court of all places.

The remaining DT "Experts", have they met personally with Jodi or have they all relied on Dr. Samuels notes and tests to base their findings? And the DT, it seems it would have been relatively easy to see that Samuels results were based on faulty test results just by the dates the test were administered, did they think Juan wouldn't notice?? And Jodi, she didn't seem the least bit phased watching Dr. Samuels go down in flames due to his incompetence and her lies.
Masterful cross by Juan Martinez. The best I've seen.

Not that the trial should be entertainment, but that was probably the most entertaining expert testimony I've seen. Usually, the expert stuff is such a drag, but I was LOLing at times.

JM is starting to remind me of Colombo, if Colombo had more attitude.

I wonder who will have the daunting task of playing him in the Lifetime movie?

Ah, I think that's Laviolette, she'll be testifying (lying) that Jodi was abused, so I already can't stand to look at her.

I thought she was the mitigation specialist? If she's going to testify, why is she allowed in the court room during other witness testimony?

The lady that sits behind the defense table is the mitigation specialist but her name is not Laviolette. Laviolette is the DV expert that is going to testify for the defense.

And the female defense attorney stupidly said " Jodi doesn't know what "body slammed' means, she was into yoga, not fighting."

But that's NOT true. She was really into fighting and martial arts.

LOL What a silly thing to say. Most people know what a body slam is, you don't have to be into fighting to know what it is. So stupid, and obvious that they are just trying to find SOMETHING to say in her defense. There really isn't anything IMO.

She originally said Body slammed and the wind was knocked out of her. But now she was 'tackled' and she rolled away, never knew for sure if he was even following her anymore----but for some reason she had to grab a gun and shoot him in the face. SERIOUSLY?

I hope the men on the jury are scared chitless by this woman.

The thing that gets me, the way she describes this attack, if it was a body slam or he pushed her to the ground... he was still standing over her and that would of given her no time to catch her breath, roll to her side, stand up and run without him grabbing her. I can't see how he's ready to kill her, standing over her while she just got slammed to the ground... but she still wants people to believe that she got away from him and ran down the hallway and into the closet and grabbed the gun before he even caught up with her. Just don't make sense.
If he was standing over her in a rage to kill, she never would of gotten up off that floor.

Before Juan, I never realized how hard it was to answer a question with a simple yes or no. :)

I just about fell over when RS said "perhaps I should have readministered the test" after JA ditched the intruder story. Well.... yeah... That was incredulous. He lost all credibility he had left when he said that. JM got him good after that. This entire DT's witness' testimony was debunked with that admission. Again, everything to do with JA is based on one lie after another. Can't wait to see what kind of debaucle the next defense witness will present.
I look at Jodi sitting with that grim look on her face as her case continues to fall apart day by day. I am so happy Travis has JM to speak for him. How JA portrays Travis as a deviant day after day to save her sociopathic sorry self makes me ill. Such disrespect for him & his family sickens me. I can't wait to see her face when she gets the DP, & she has 23 hrs per day to sit in her cell alone & relive every stab wound as his life ebbed away by her hand. She is looking more tired & cornered each day. I hope she can't sleep at night thinking of her impending conviction of 1st degree premeditated murder.

I'm betting Ms. Wilmott's trying to figure out how to get out of a re-direct with the good doc. Can she just stand up and say 'pass'? LOL.. What could she possibly ask him at this point? "Perhaps you should have re-administred the test? Really, you think so Einstein?? That's all I have judge.."

Great post! :rocker:

Unfortunately, psychopaths/sociopaths like Arias and say...Scott Peterson have no problem sleeping at night.

I remember reading about Peterson's first night in jail and how he slept like a baby (sorry no link).

We can't relate to that because we're not psycho killers!

MOO

Hahaha... Nurmi would stand up and object, saying it miscategorizes his testimony... "he never said he was Einstein your honor"
lol
