I have a 20 year old son. It has been my experience that young men have a very high tolerance for foul odors.

Your post made me smile :)

Still, I can't stop thinking about that BIG A$$ vent over the door to TA's master suite. The shower door was not floor to ceiling, and there's a massive vent over the door. I just can't imagine. The upstairs must have been on a single A/C unit, so the air had to be circulating. ugh

But yeah, I think they were just oblivious.

She should have said she stole her grandpa's gun because [1] she wanted protection on her road trip and/or [2] she was considering suicide.

She had the gun with her at TA's, in her backpack. As she was leaving, they argued and he got abusive. He picked up the knife and threatened her, and was going to tie her up, but she managed to get the gun out and shot him once, but it jammed. She had to then fight him for control of the knife.

This will be her story if she appeals and gets a new trial, "the 4th story is the FINAL and TRUE story" LOL

I may have missed this, but did Dr. Speculation ever produce the actual bubbled-in answer sheet and/or did Juan address it or compare it to his crib notes? TIA

Dr Speculation...what a fitting name for him. Love it.
I don't remember seeing the original. He may of said it was in his draw at home.

I thought the same about Travis being drugged . maybe when she was spying on him ,he had a glass of water or something and she poured some date rape drug in the water and he didn't know and drank it,(Jodi waited till it kick inn) and started to feel drowsy and went to take a shower to wake up ,just let the cool water run down his face. so,far thats the only thing i think that will weaken him so she could have the upper hand. Travis looks healithy and strong and quick in his movements from the before his killing videos I saw.

But wouldn't the autopsy have shown drugs? Even if it was cold medicine?

In heat that's over 100 degrees??? Arizona heat is very different from that of California. It's a very dry heat, not humid at all, and can get unbearable in the summer months. My cousins who lived there would leave Arizona just for the summer it gets so bad...

I am with you Linask. WHAT? Most people wear the least amount they can get away with, and it's not Pretty!!!

I lived in Scottsdale for 10 years and the Monsoon season runs pretty much from June until Sept. This is when they get their Rain....and the Humidity plus 116 Degrees heat. It is not HOODIE weather.

They actually had a day it reached 127 degrees and Planes could not take off because they need it cooler than that for Lift---I think the DEVIL:furious: has a summer home on 27th Street!!!!!

Delusional = 0 :waitasec:

I don't know what the scores mean either, or if they are even real. Given that the good doctor filled in answers for her.

I'm thinking I've reached a new high (or low, depending on how you look at it).... I'm already planning my day to be back home in time for the trial to start. I've been thinking of what I'll pick up for dinner on the way home so I don't miss a minute of the trial once it starts.... I caught myself looking at the clock the past few weeks while I'm working, calculating what time I'll be getting in the door.... I'm actually a little taken aback at myself at how I am so enmeshed in this trial. That being said, it is what it is. I don't think I'll be calling DrMrS for an insightful analysis of my status ;)

I am not so such you totally mean junk psychology because this may imply discounting many people who do suffer from PTSD. However, I think you might believe the way this guy is using the DSM-IV is junk. (ish) I am embarrassed that a licensed colleague would be an embarrassment to my chosen profession to help people with dire concerns.

I was so disgusted I ended with a headache (stress). I finally turned it off and couldn't watch "talking heads" on HLN the rest of the evening.

The DT is grasping at straws or life raft to represent a woman who has done everything to sabotage herself because she thinks she "knows best". Since this is a death penalty case the DT has to do something even if it is wrong.

JMHO

I did mean in the "Jodi Arias" case.

I absolutely do believe in PTSD! But not in Arias' case. It is an absolute insult to people who do suffer with it. I have been appalled that Soldiers (hero's) and Police Officers (hero's) being mentioned in the same breath with her name.

I don't think the temperatures for that area for that time of year are relevant only because I believe she planned the murder. It didn't happen while she just happened to be at TA's, wearing what a normal person would wear at that time and place. Every little detail was planned, down to what she would be wearing to protect herself from being bloodied, etc. The way she got out of there without leaving any kind of blood or evidence trail behind her is amazing to me. She operated like a well oiled machine. The frenzy of stabs was followed by an almost mechanical clean up, it seems. She had some level of cold, almost frigid steel reserve after she killed him and shoved him in the shower. She did screw up, of course with some of the details but she really did have a plan, IMO.

Maybe they are going to hide license plates at the jail after trial and she needs the glasses to find them. :floorlaugh:
If she gets LWOP, she'll be making license plates.

Let's just hope and pray that most of the jurors caught it. That is the real JA, front and center. I can't believe she dropped the ball and did the eye roll. Apparently she lost a bit of her impulse control.

I'm afraid they didn't catch it....first according to watchers in the courtroom, the jury doesn't look at Jodi, and second I think they would be seated too far away to catch it if they did happen to be looking at her. I've seen a picture of the courtroom and its much larger with large spaces between the stand and the DT and Prosecution tables than it appears on the screen. But it would be great if they did see it!

I feel the same way! At some point you feel like you should be asking yourself, "Is this healthy?" Ha. But, because I know at some point it will end, I'm giving myself a pass.

Sorry for asking....what time can we expect court to start today? By start, I mean the seal is down, we see people in the courtroom but mostly JM and the dream DT standing around at the bench talking to Judge Surewhatever

from what I've read the date rape drug stays in the body for 72 hours . then it can't be detected .

I think it's late today, 1pm AZ time, but if someone else can confirm that I'd appreciate it.
