After thinking the "shooting first" made more sense I have done a complete turnaround. Jodi planned every minute detail right down to turning the license plates. So the murder was planned to a T. I believe she planned on BOTH stabbing and shooting Travis to make it look like there were 2 killers. She planned on stabbing first (why would you stab if your gunshot already killed him) and then shooting him. I wouldnt be surprised that she planned on stabbing right handed and fire the gun left-handed or visa versa to aid in the 2 killer story. I think she planned on doing both in the shower - first, sitting in there would make him more vunerable and 2nd it would contain the blood.

What went wrong was that after being stabbed, Travis was able to get up and out of the shower before she could shoot him...therefore she had to stop him by repeatingly stab and ultimately slashing his throat...since her original plan was to shoot in shower, she dragged him back and put him in plus the reason for attempted clean up (trying to return to her master plan).

I welcome alternate theories or reasons why my theory doesnt make sense!

I think she shot him first and when he didn't die the first time probably tried to shoot him again. Something happened with the gun so she ended up finishing him with the knife. The reason I think she shot him first is that if she had started attacking him with a knife first, he might have been able to overpower her. I think him being shot limited his ability to defend himself.

Jodi Arias new story about how it all happened.

Travis didn’t want to take the chance that I might accidently hurt myself with his gun so when I was doing the shower shoot he had the gun in the shower with him.

As I was taking pictures he had water running in his eyes and he went to pick up the soap from the soap ledge and accidently picked up the gun and as he was going to lather up his head the gun went off and he hot himself. (Remember he thought it was the bar of soap).
The loud bang hurt my ears so much.

He then staggered to the sink from the shower and seen the knife lying on the counter.
He was a little discombobulated from the gun shot to the head.
But at least he kept telling me we would still get married.
Then I really think he was going into some kind of fog after that or maybe it was just steam from the shower.

Then as he was walking away from the sink with the knife in his hand he slipped and fell right on the knife.
He kept standing and falling on the knife because the floor was so wet.
I never saw anything in my life like that (standing, falling, standing falling.

By now he had stabbed himself so many times by accident he was crawling and begging me to end his life because he knew he was going to die so I took the knife away from him and cut his throat to help him so he wouldn’t suffer more.

Not wanting to leave his house a mess I tried to clean it up as best I could but I couldn’t stay long as I had a date in Utah that I had to keep.
I think I might have accidently thrown the camera in the wash with all the bedding.
Good thing I deleted all the pictures from the camera so is friends and cops wouldn’t know he was such a klutz.
I’m sure glad I don’t have PDST or people might have thought I did it.
Anyway I better get going as I still have the date with my new boy friend in Utah.

I think this is as good a story as I have told so far and it’s the truth (swear to god).
I just can’t figure out why I was arrested by the mean detective Flores—I think he’s secretly in with that prosecutor Martinez and they are trying to frame me( planting all that evidence wasn’t very nice of them.

At least I got to almost have sex with that nice Mr. Ryan man so my trip wasn’t a total waist.
Anyway I’ll be out in a year or two and I’ll find me a brand new boy friend but I sure hope he isn’t clumsy like my last boy friend.

This story is about as believable as the one she is telling the jury now.
I have faith the jury will see through all her lies and make the right decision.
I think the common sense test is the only test that should be done in her case.
If the jury does not find her quilty then the government should start recruiting jurors from elementary schools.

I live between Mesa and UT, she had to drive through my town, so I tried to get my BF to take a weekend adventure with me to try and look through the desert for the gun, to my suprise he told me I was insane, the nerve :floorlaugh:

I would have wanted to do that too. But you have to think also that with as many lies she has told she may have lied about where and how she disposed of the gun. It could be in a lake somewhere or buried in her yard. She definetly does nor want it found.

Did JM ever put in evidence (or mention) where the cell tower ping was when JA called Ryan (wasn't that the first call after leaving Mesa)?

All of the cell records provided to the prosecution by the provider for Ms. Arias' phone were put into evidence. The first call pinged on a tower 57 miles north of Kingman AZ (within 8 miles of the Hoover Dam interestingly enough).
