Men are just phyisologically different then females. Not wanting to start up the debate as to weather one can resist or not I just thought this was interesting.

Travis described JA as "a nymphomaniac" to at least one friend.

He described his value to JA this way: "I was nothing more than a dildo with a heartbeat for you."

This undoubtedly summarily characterized 'the tie that bound' them together, from his perspective.

Thinking about this in light of the Dido song lyrics and the fictional rope, and we understand more about JA's perspective on that 'binding tie' as well.

The whole camera situation confuses and fascinates me. I have the same questions you do.

I think the accidental pictures were a work of God, doing his little thing to make that evil woman responsible for what she did.

I actually don't think she intended to throw the camera in the wash. I think she picked up the clothes that were in the same load and the camera was in the middle of that pile of clothing. After throwing the clothes, and inadvertantly the camera, in the wash she was leaving, looked for the camera, didn't find it, got nervous about time and left without it.

That's just my theory though.

In the very first post of every thread there is a media link that has you tube posts of the daily testimony.

Im not sure when she was on the stand, but I do remember her face being on the clip of the video on you tube, so you should be able to find it pretty easily.

Well, that was my thought also. But when those Jodi lovers latch onto something (as they must keep doing b/c they are grasping at straws) they act like they need to bring it to Nurmi's attention. On the other hand, why wouldn't Juan say Paw Paw's gun had the same kind of bullets that went into his head?

So does it make sense to say that a psychopath is born, there are is no childhood trauma that can be pointed to, and even with attempts to redirect life/therapy, person ends up a criminal or murderer? Or do we know yet? I think this research is in it's infancy and treatment is being attempted for the kids labeled as untreatable, but are there any known 'survivors' yet?

I would love to answer this question, but it relates to theology and the origin of sin. That discussion is not allowed here.

:wave: I tend to agree. That seems like the most likely scenario. Another poster said she wouldn't take it with her because if they found that was the only thing missing, it would point to her. I hadn't thought of that before.

Part of the inherent problem with psychopathy is that, by nature of the disorder itself, its resistant to known treatment options.

Someone has to legitimately realize there is something wrong with them and want to seek treatment for it. Psychopaths externalize everything though. It's everyone else's fault.

FWIW though, Dr. Hare estimates about 80% of criminals could be diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder. Only an estimated 20% of those are also psychopathic though. Psychopathy isn't necessarily indicative of criminal behavior but it is often found in the worst examples of such criminal behavior - the most heinous and cruelest crimes.

I don't think "professional photographer" Jodi knew deleted photos could be retrieved. I think she deleted the photos and threw it in the washer to make sure her DNA was washed off.

How many "experts" get to see nude and vulgar pics of their client? That has to be very appealing. :floorlaugh:

I honestly don't know how anybody could speak to her face to face after seeing those photos. Det. Flores is an amazing man to be able to conduct those interviews without wretching or laughing.

Having said that, I am sure there are men out there who find JA sexually attractive and think of her as a three hole wonder. Add in JA's manipulative and seductive ways and I am sure there are lots of men and women out there who find her appealing.

Testimony from the first couple of days of the trial is not available that I can find. There is audio that someone else posted but no video. Only recently has video of opening statements been posted. I believe MiMi was one of the first witnesses on the stand (though I could be wrong about that).

But, audio is better than nothing!
