Ok so jury questions are read in order so the tell tell signs will be what they ask last. These are the ones after re-direct. Then we can worry if they are pro-defense.

But also there is much more in this trial to go!

Oh dear, I'm back to being worried again.

Me too. It sounds like they could be convinced of this nonsense if only he would explain it in a way that makes sense. Questions about hypnosis and recovered memories do not inspire confidence...like people have been watching too much tv.

Also, he is simply making things up as he goes along. His schtick is extremely outdated, as if he has not kept up with his profession for about 30 years.

He only needs to convince one of the jurors to get a hung jury............ i'm worried by the questions.

I think I am going to be worried until this nightmare of a trial is over.

I will try my best to keep the faith of justice prevailing.

I still see juror questions as though one juror may believe her. Sorry. Not all the questions came across as pro prosection.

I think just a juror who holds this responsibility to judge someone's life very dearly and wants to have all questions answered and all i's dotted and t's crossed before they call her guilty.

She has never been put on suicide watch at the jail has she? If not I call BS on the whole suicidal talk.

I would think not, especially since they allow her to pop whatever she wants into her mouth in court. Meh, maybe they are hoping it's cyanide.

I'm going to guess (given the hard stare that JA directed toward the gallery just before) that JA is not pleased that the family's ribbons remain.

I think it was the ribbons too...

Wonderful questions about planning murder, faking tests, Samuels' bias, his errors, fondness for Arias (even more insulting than being accused of wanting $$)...Great!

is complete BS as his premise is if it was premeditated it would have to be neat. Because it was such a freakin mess and he was killed three ways meant it had to be spontaneous. That's BS. What is equally likely is that someone who NEVER murdered before planned a murder and when it wasn't exactly like she thought it would be she freaked out and went way overboard in her frenzied fear that she wouldn't succeed in killing him.

This guy just completely lacks rational thought IMO and believes whatever BS she feeds him. Fortunately he wasn't allowed to get into his "beliefs" about crime scenes any more deeply than the yes and no questions which he did manage to qualify with not likely etc. Maybe there's some way Juan can get that point across although it probably doesn't matter as I think the jury pretty much gets it.

what? You can tell by looking at the crime scene she suffers from PTSD?

what a bunch of BS!

Travis suffers from lack of a heartbeat. Who gives a carp what she feels.

She needs to get the DP.

JMHO

Right handed sippy cup today with JA. Was it not left handed on the stand?
She would have an awful hard time, lifting the cup, twisting-rotating her wrist so far over for the jury to see her fake finger from the jury box. They might have to consider lifting her chair up!!! hahahahahahaha They had a better view when she was on the stand.

Hi everyone! this is my first post after joining a couple years ago :)

My favorite question so far was about him saying a "made up story" is more consistent... sounds rehersed etc.

well isnt that how her story sounds? Great question!

She talked to him about being suicidal but since she didn't tell him her actual plan he wasn't worried? Huh
One of the standard criteria that's used to assess the likeliness that a person who threatens suicide will follow through with it is the presence of a stated plan.

  • #1,493
Yeah, he changed that. Before, he implied she was suicidal when he was talking to her. So he sent a book for self-esteem. :what:
Now he just said she told him she was suicidal before he met her.
He doesn't lie as well as JA. :)

he also said prior on cross when JM asked who he told she was suicidal he said her defense team....and JM asked you did not tell anyone at the jail, no just the defense team.....LIES, LIES

One of my biggest issues is the following testimony:

1. Murderers who premeditate don't show PTSD because they planned it (basic idea of what he said);

2. People who have been attacked by a stranger do show PTSD.

3. People who have to self defend show PTSD.

4. Since Jodi lied the first time, he didn't feel he had to retest because of #3. He just attributed the "true" trauma to the first story and kept the results.

IE, in my view, that means he NEVER even considered it COULD BE #1. He was sold on #3 from the beginning. His entire failure to retest shows he never even considered premeditation as a viable consideration.

Well, or he was paid to not considerate it. I bet he knows. He just wants to take his money and run.

Wonder if one of the jurors smiled at her?

  • #1,498
Yes, and JW looked and said yes to whatever JA saw and smiled. Then Jodi stepped out of JW's shadow to either see or be seen.

That was completely odd. I thought she was going to step around Wilmott and make a break for it, she was so anxious to catch someone's eye. What was up with that???

It appears it wasn't even on his radar -ever. I think this jury is astute enough to catch this.
