I don't see anything wrong with the jurors asking questions that some may view as "pro defense".

It's better to ask questions now then have unanswered questions later. They are engaged, they are taking advantage of this rare opportunity most jurors don't have.

Assuming they are following the admonitions, they have not talked to each other about this case AT ALL (even though they've been together as a group for almost 3 months). They should not be talking to anyone about the case. That can't be easy. The trial will have its twists and turns and we ARE in the defense case.

Juan will snap everyone out of this fog and erase the doubts --- the reasonable doubts-- he will remind everyone exactly what this monster did... the planning, the story changes, the lies, the calculation, the manipulation, how clear she was in her actions, ...he will bring in credible experts, recall Detective Flores, he will bring in new witnesses or recall old witnesses to PROVE that Travis WAS NOT a pedophile, he did NOT own a gun, he was NOT abusive, and that JA WAS a STALKER, a jealous, rageful, obsessed, psychopathic murderer.

I have confidence that this involved, inquisitive jury will get to the deliberation room armed with answers and evidence and more than enough to convict JA. They will talk through any doubts they may have and it won't take convincing but pointing out the OBVIOUS, the FACTS. There is one appropriate verdict and they will reach it.

Bingo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She DID think she "traded" up. Travis was a better "catch" than any other man she had EVER dated. She WOULD NOT give up on snagging him without a fight.

Websleuther are the best, intelligent, best detectives on planet earth!!! We all did it w/o PhD, psychological tests, etc!!!!

He just admitted that she was a self-described gold-digger.

BINGO. She was a movin' on up, climbing her way up on top, whoops, I mean to the top. :floorlaugh:

this psychological testimony is confusing me. when is JA supposed to have come down with this ptsd? is he saying she had it when she killed TA or as a result of killing TA?

Hiya folks :seeya:

:great: good smart common sense Jury!!
definitely can relate to the sarcastic question asker :rocker:

Considering JA is nuts even if a juror glared at her she'd probably think 'omg that juror has the hots for me. Maybe he's in love with me!'

I'm the eternal optimist. She will be found guilty of first degree murder by this jury.

I could hear her say something like "I will kill myself before I have to spend the rest of my life in a prison"

That's about as far as JA's suicidal plans went. IMHO

It came out the other day, courtesy of Nurmi, that she was depressed and suicidal when he was trying to leave the case. Juan had to leave it alone, but it was plain that she had pulled the manipulative card again - 'Stay or I will kill myself.'

Worst one? What does that mean?

And yes I can hear the skepticism in some of the questions. But we don't know who or how many jurors are asking them. It could be one or two jurors asking all the sceptical questions while the neutral questions are being asked by more than two jurors. It's not really safe at this point to conclude that the jury as a group is leaning one way or the other.

I don't know at what point you think it would ever be safe to second guess a jury.

The safety here is in knowing that this case in the hands of several critical thinkers. It doesn't get any better than that!

so lets see if I understand this..she came out of her fog JUST in time to clean up before going thru a police or border patrol...how convenient!

According to Jodi, it was before the police check and only her hands had blood on them. She also said she never went through the checkpoint, IIRC.

You know we have not heard the last of the magazine story. Juan will hammer on how she lied on the test, and the extraordinary lengths she went to to influence testimony of others to bolster her lies. Lying and pressuring others to lie and commit perjury are damning IMO.

  • #1,554
IMO she was focused on a certain juror and almost knocked wilmott over to get in their presence. Smiling. Me thinks she thinks she has a fan on the jury... Jmo

I saw that too and she whispered something to JW who also looked. I thought it was about the ribbons that Travis's family refused to remove which I support

I would think not, especially since they allow her to pop whatever she wants into her mouth in court. Meh, maybe they are hoping it's cyanide.

Fingers crossed!

Tried it one or nine times...

It seems odd to me that we have heard about her having anal sex with several partners, but he had it only with one.....her....and yet HE is perceived as the one who insisted on it? And of course, Dr Feelgood would believe that....

They used to have a name for girls like that in high school...I think it had to do with trains? and maybe, pulling them?

I shudder to think what could have happened, if JA had hooked up with a psycho like Paul Bernardo. :-(

Honey you have just hit the nail on the proverbial head right there. Two peas in a pod. I shudder.

So he saids right before the check point before Hoover Dam she came out of her fog and she was covered in blood? pretty convenient.. I must say..

  • #1,559
You know, I have always wondered why she didn't try to pull this issue over on Travis. It is an interesting issue which I would place money on that she did try it. Of course we will never know, she will never admit it if she did and Travis, well Travis can no longer tell the world about her evil.

I would bet $ she did too.

Just seems soooo Jodi 101....

I was just thinking - she would be the type to harm her own child if that child's father broke up with her or pissed her off.

No, no, no ...she did not create the Ninja story because she couldnt deal with the horror of the trauma. She created it to escape being caught and punished. Even Jodi admitted that on the stand.

RIGHT! If he's assuming she made up the story as a coping mechanism, then the whole foundation of his "evaluation" is bollocks.
