He diagnosed hundreds of cases on ptsd, but only used the test he finds 'most effective' about 10 - 15 times?
She had trouble reading, so he sent her a book? She had trouble relaxing in her jail cell?
I'm not a forensic psychologist diagnostic evaluator, but I think there are specific guidelines regarding the necessity of gathering third party information due to the inherent bias of the subject.

OMG IKR, I was thinking the very same thing, lol!!!!!:floorlaugh:

I caught that, too. Wonder what's up.......

I don't know if he would do this, but he always shows respect to Travis by saying Mr. Alexander. Maybe he's NOT showing respect to Jodi by calling her mother by her first name? I don't know....

Hit and kicked her mother for no reason.....my child would only do this once to me, and they would be behind bars.....it's called tough love.....

how is this possible? hasn't gus2 testified that jodi is a passive, nonagressive human?

I love how he got in that JA hit her mother on multiple occasions "for no reason." Front door may be closed but...Let's get 'er in from the backdoor!

Oh man...terrible visual right there.

  • #925
Did you all see that, I think Jodi has hiccups....

I really believe her mother and family are not testifying for her b/c they would tell the truth about how JA was as a child and sibling. They know it would not help her case, but hurt it.They probably would feel guilt if they helped put her on DR and besides, who want to go up against Juan on cross-NOT I-JMO

It really can be a horribly painful experience to read the accounts of parents of psychopathic children. Sure, there are some parents who really don't give a damn but there are also those who do everything right, who try every treatment imaginable, set every limitation, and love their child to bits only to have that child abuse and mistreat them over and over again, psychologically, physically, emotionally and financially.

The family is very often the first victims, and learning curve, of psychopaths.

It looks like the trial has gone on so long that JA has run out of her court wardrobe and JW is lending her some clothes.

Yes, I believe she has. Also, has anybody noticed the Defense team all wearing varying colors of off-white clothing today? Both Jodi and Wilmott have a black camisole on under their matching off-whites. Do they plan these matching outfits? Seems too much of a coincidence today. Hmmmm. :waitasec: Although, I don't know what the significance of matching colors could mean/signify.

I'm worried that Juan having a document the defense did not mean to release might lead to a legal issue later, such as grounds for challenging a guilty verdict.

Maybe Willmott should have worn slinkees on her shoes...she'll be popping up often.

Interesting .. I thought she didn't have a violent bone in her body ... a pacifist I think the doc said.

The reason she had problems with her mother was probably because her mother did not take crap from her. She tried to discipline her.......a lost cause. I know this from experience...

I think the repeated sidebars are to let the witness calm the heck down. Every time he gets really riled they make an objection.

Interesting .. I thought she didn't have a violent bone in her body ... a pacifist I think the doc said.

But remember her bouts of physically attacking someone were irrelevant to the Doc S, ater all it didn't have anything to do with his finding of PTSD:floorlaugh:

The same saintly mom who sold her murderer <mod snip> "artwork" online and sold or attempted to sell forged letters about Travis being a pedophile pervert to a tabloid?? The same long suffering "mom" who laughed and giggled with her twin when TA's sister had to leave the courtroom in tears? Maybe a different mom who is receiving all of these praises.....

Scratch that, this eval is going to take us a little longer, which means *drum roll* we are going to get 2-3 hours of eval, not therapy, eval, saving us $500- $750 each, nice!!!

I think JA's mom is ready to sit on the other side of the courtroom now, I felt bad for her after hearing a little more about how she was treated. She did look haunted.

I also noticed RS is now using, 'according to what Ms. Arias reported to me' with an increasing frequency, and he is already hot under the collar...again...s'mores anyone?

A couple times today I caught the good doctor stating "I believe she told me" when recounting his sessions with her.

Juan is amazing. At these sidebars, when JW is getting upset and animated, Juan just waits it out, calmly and confidently making his points.

  • #938
In observing JA during the sidebars, I've come to the conclusion that JA is trying her hardest to look hyper-vigilant today! Unfortunately for her, simultaneously showing hyper-vigilance and lack of concentration is pretty hard!

Hell I wouldn't be able to sleep in jail. poor little lamb

If she does not want to do the time, she shouldn't ever, ever do the crime.
Who cares about her anyway.
:jail::jail::jail::jail::jail:

She did a weird spasm ... maybe she had a jolt of reality for once.
