I do want to hear what this lady says about JA's DV claims, being a DV victim myself (going back to that fool many times even after his attempted murder charge that was pled down) I'm interested. But maybe it's the trail and what side she is on right now that my hinky meter goes off a bit. If she is anything like the last witness well she will give DV experts a bad name. I know JA should have a defense but using something as serious as that issue is wrong and so called experts who participate are a reason why people don't speak out and don't get help.

PS - I did get out of my DV relationship and met the most wonderful man who is the father of my 3 beautiful boys...and knows my history and doesn't judge, helped me though the bad times and loves me for me.

Granted, I missed a lot as I had to take my pet to the ER, but I never saw any posts that said that.

I hope your furbaby is okay!

I agree with you. The guy drove me nuts on the stand becuase he was so disorganized but...I feel Nurmi handles his experts/witnesses like he tried to with the list of people on the Prosecution's side. He lies to them. Then he talks big money.

I do believe he fills their heads up. Claims there is all this proof that what they will get up on the stand and talk about is true. That the state is just a bumbling fool with nothing to hold up their case so don't worry. They will be there to help them, guide them. He picks really disorganized off the wall people to do it to as well.

Please, don't beat me people. I do feel these experts are at fault for not looking into the case themselves properly but so far I have a little twinge in my heart for Dr. Sam. Especially at the end when he was standing there, waiting with his suitcase and Jodi couldn't even bother to acknowledge him. His career is pretty much over, he had no idea it was coming and the bish can't even give him a kind smile.

You said that perfectly!!! Thank you!!

Agreed. I didn't participate, or laugh. I also don't think it's cool to make fun of Nurmi's weight or Wilmotts hair/clothing.

Me either. :seeya:

Don't see how it's relevant.

Is this the photo that Travis had in his closet? If so, then it probably is where Jodi got the Spidey pants idea.

OH WOW.....Then that lie is a direct arrow to the heart of his family, and deliberate by Jodi if you ask me, using even their early childhood photos of Travis. I wonder if she saw this picture and is that why she brought up 'spiderman' on the telephone, to hurt him? Had she teased him about the photo in the past, is that why Travis says he doesn't like Spiderman so quickly, and is that why Jodi says the underwear was owned by a young boy he knew in her testimony?

Missed the discussion about the dog .. tied up all the time outside? Not the same one in the photos with her is it? Anyway, yep, I reiterate, let's write the prison once she's sentenced so she can't partake in any of those wonderful animal programs they have for prisoners. No pets for you JA.

I am not sure whose dog is in that photo she became all teary-eyed about, however, this one was one the family had when her younger brother was in diapers. The photo of her with the large black dog appears to be a lot more recent.

MOO

TY. he is staying at the ER overnight, but the outlook is good!

Oh GOOD! I'll remember him in my prayers. My 'babies' are my heart and I have been in that situation too. Keep me posted.

Sorry for the OT.

That's possible, but I don't see how it would help the prosecution that much since the same brand is probably sold at a lot of places. In any case, it was probably still just a bluff since how could the tell what brand an empty shell is? I again think this is something that would have come out during the forensics-centric CIC.

The tire slashing hasn't come in because it wasn't proven who did it. The story about her in the bathroom may have been torn apart because the woman was drunk and may also be prejudicial. There's no telling but I don't think it's needed.

How about Chris Hughes and the dirt he has on Jodi? And it IS needed to counter Sameuls' claims of her being "passive" and not assertive. It goes to her credibility.

As for the casing, you can tell the brand. The shell recovered at the scene was stamped with, "Win 25 auto". Doubt it would take a forensic scientist to use a magnifying glass.

Interesting discussion on Dr Drew, on how his childhood left scars which allowed him to be sucked in by Jodi. That's like another level of sadness in this case.

I have to admit that I never listen to the shows..EVER. However, over the last week, I have been interested in seeing KatieDDJ and became interested in some of the discussion. It's been worth it. I still find some of the commentary a bit nauseating, but today was very interesting. The guest who spoke about how much more tragic Travis' upbringing was compared to Jodi's was poignant. I also really enjoyed the "co-host" today who doesn't smile incessantly while talking about serious issues. She also hit the nail on the head about stalking behavior and JA's dual pathology. She was very interesting.

I'm just glad Doc $ is off the stand. ALV is a breath of fresh air, and YES I am also interested in what she has to say.

It would have come in already. This is CIC info not rebuttal info. There is no reason to save something they've known for 5 years. Again, I don't see how matching the brands helps all that much. The same brand may be common and would not necessarily mean anything. There's a lot of wishful thinking here.

For context, here is an extremely abbreviated timeline - but it does put certain things into context (for me anyway).

Met in September 2006 (averaged to Sept. 15)
JA living in Palm Desert CA (long distance)
6 months before they start dating
Started dating on February 2, 2007

Dated for 5 months JA living in Big Sur, CA
(JA living w/MM - long distance for entirety of 'official' dating)
JA and Travis break up June 2007

3 months 'broken up' then:
JA Moves to Mesa AZ August 2007
JA lives 7-8 months in Mesa, moves 2x w/in minutes of Travis.

JA Moves to Yreka CA April 2008
2 months no physical contact (?)

June 4, 2008

Time span: From meeting until June 4, 2008:
628 days
1 year, 8 months, 20 days
---
Please feel free to correct any factual errors :)

628 days. Even when JA lived in Mesa they were not on good terms much of the time, so their being together then is limited as well...

Juan should have a timeline like this up on the overhead the entire time he crosses her

Am i wrong? I thought no one saw the tires being slashed, only that they had been slashed.

I don't think anyone saw who slashed the tires. IIRC, Lisa initially thought her stalker ex BF was responsible but later said she thought it was Jodi.

So she deserves nasty names like "FemiNazi" because she is testifying for the defense?

Okay. Cool. Thx.

I heard the first 30 minutes or so of her testimony on HLN radio and thought she came across as professional and credible. I logged on here when I got home and thought, "haters gonna hate!" as the saying goes. Who cares what she looks like!?!?! Maybe I didn't think twice about it bc she looks like most women her age in ATX!

I'm reserving my final judgment on her testimony until after she's done. Didn't JM bring up on JA's cross that she told ALV that TA was masturbating to child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 on the computer?? Well we know there was no 🤬🤬🤬🤬 on that computer!! Odds are ALV will testify on cross that JA lied to her as well and how she handles that will be when I decide how credible she is.

I am really sorry for asking again, but things move so fast. What does IIRC mean?

Has there been any information about his childhood other than the intro to his book on his blog? I haven't heard anyone speak to it, ever, including any of the other family members. Not that I'd expect them to, necessarily.
