As to the judge, she deserves to be ridiculed, IMO, whether it is this trial or another ...

She has absolutely NO CONTROL over the Arias Trial and is letting the defendant and her team "run the show" ... very incompetent, IMO ...

There is ZERO corroborating evidence that TA was a misogynistic, abusive, pedophile. We have only the testi-phoney of a confessed lying killer to establish the cockamamie fantasy.

Yet, that's what Judge Stephens has effectively allowed into evidence and stipulated as fact.

When ALV was yacking about all her experience, etc, did she mention any meetings with Jodi?
I know Dr Quack mentioned right away he spent 25-30 hours with her and had 12 visits.

She didn't mention it but Juan M made a point of saying something about JA having lied to her about the source of the phantom child so I am assuming that she did. Beth Karas has also said that she did. It makes sense to me that ALV will not bring up having met with JA because, if she does, in comes the lie/inconsistency about the .

Personally, I don't think it was a migraine. I think Jodi did not take her medication this morning and was about to flip out. Something defense did not want the jury to see. She's come pretty close to some outbursts lately. If Jodi is there tomorrow we should watch to see if she is heavily medicated. jmo

You may be right. She has been acting up the past few weeks. She was caught on TV/internet giving, I believe Saumuels, the bird. She had a visible reaction when it was mentioned she kicked her mom for no apprent reason. Caught scolding Nurmi yesterday. Then we have her rolling eyes when Juan is up.
Today I just caught the last few seconds of the hearing before the seal went up. JA was talking to JW. It didn't look like girl talk. Is there a video of that hearing anywhere?

JA is a liar, so we can be safe to assume that the headache is manipulation. Is she "punishing" her DT?

Maybe even she recognized that the 'Violence Continuum' was shaping up to describe HER actions of terrorizing Travis?

The most recent pleading just has the one guy on it. The one before that was the records peeps from wal-mart and tesoro. I think those are the only rebuttal witnesses disclosed since the defense's case started.

Allowing the defense to question ALV on hypotheticals is not the same as stipulating to it as a fact.

There is bias surrounding this case, but it's not from the judge, it's from some of the spectators.

I agree. As much as we may detest her, she has not yet been convicted and she does have rights. I would surely feel faint if I was forced to '"fast" for 13 hours a day, under the best of circumstances. The Maricopa County Jail should really make some arrangement to provide lunch to this defendant.

She has 2600 calories of food provided to her a day. Peanut butter and bread plus three pieces of fruit come in addition to her breakfast. It's her lunch to eat whenever and she can take it with her because it will not spoil. I rarely eat lunch and I do not eat 2600 calories a day for sure and I do fine. She looks as if she is not eating at all. She also has access to snacks she can buy to bring with her. It's just Jodi being Jodi. Maybe she resents the fact that her attorneys eat lunch at a local café and don't bring anything back to put in her yellow folder (not that they could). Bet she is dying for a Starbucks. jmo

I think AZlawyer told me that judges are NOT elected in Maricopa County (she may have even said the state of AZ.) I think they are appointed and have to be cleared by some means. Not exactly sure how it works but I just recall her saying they weren't elected by the public at large.

Judges are not elected in AZ except in some of the rural counties. The appointment process involves a lengthy application, a public comment period, interviews by a committee that makes recommendations balanced by political party, and ultimately appointment by the governor.

Does anyone else find it a bit peculiar that these debilitating "migraines" didn't make an appearance during the 18 days that Precious Angel Snowflake Arias was on the witness stand nattering on and on and on about herself? I mean, really?

I saw Jodi look over a couple of times during ALV's testimony at JM or in his direction. Not sure what caught her attention but she did not seem to like what she was seeing. At other times when ALV sounded as if she were describing what could be better suited to Travis Jodi had a concerned look in her eyes. I think she knows JM will turn it around. Could it be JW was at the end of her questioning of ALV? jmo

She was REALLY EYEBALLING someone over on Travis' side yesterday at least that is what it looked like to me! I man like "rubber necking and eyeballing"

After following this case for as long as I have that is the 1 thing that has never ever been mentioned!!! Not even hinted at!
As controlling as she was... she never once has used that as an excuse (that anyone interviewed outside of court) to make Travis stay behind with her... or go to the store for her... or leave a party or event early with her because of it.

I think it had something to do with yesterday and the finger pressing on the desk as she asked Nurmi "What is this!"
