Does anyone else find it a bit peculiar that these debilitating "migraines" didn't make an appearance during the 18 days that Precious Angel Snowflake Arias was on the witness stand nattering on and on and on about herself? I mean, really?

They were debilitating then too, Jodi was just on the giving end during those 18 days. Like she told Travis, "I'm a giver...."

My heartfelt prayers for you and a big hug.
Yesterday i got a call from my daughter in seattle. My granddaughter is on life support, were still waiting to hear more. She is only given 20% chance of survival.so I know what it feels like to be under duress for our loved ones. God bless you and keep you as you go thru your this.

I am so sorry about your granddaughter. You are in my thoughts.

All I see is her asking her attny what something is. Why all the talk about it? Where did you see her stamping her feet? Looks to me like she says, "What is this... he said, "huh" and she asked again... LOL I don't see a temper tantrum here...

Well, you have to admit, with the jury out of view, the killer isn't all kissy face, like she usually is.

I don't normally post my speculations about the trial--some of them are outlandish--but here is my crazy theory for today. JA got a migraine because of the new witness list. I am with other posters thinking that Matt McCartney may have decided to finally do the right thing and testify for the state. If this crazy thing would happen, she would be sunk.

I know that he is on the defense witness list--but I am guessing they won't call him since he has been less than cooperative and they can't count on what is testimony would be. In the real world if a person is on a defense witness list can they switch sides?

Given her 'blunt' affect normally, she seems a bit peeved at whatever it is she saw on the DT table. I think she spied it before the jurors left the courtroom and as soon as they exited she asked Nurmi about it. She looks less than happy to me, not like "Oh hey, by the way, what's this?" in her usual so-so-sweet JA fashion....

I didn't see any stomping action either but I think that was inferred from her face and what seemed to be her tone... JMO

Yes, exactly.

What fun would that be : ) :skip:

ETA: Or you can just wait for Karmady to pop down to the clerk's office and read the document, which apparently says that Robert Brown of the Mesa PD (who works in computer forensics) is going to testify as a rebuttal witness.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. My son's tumor is Malignant, we will be going to a pediatric hospital tomorrow.
I feel like I am still in shock, but I just wanted to check in and say I miss watching the trial with you all.

My friends daughter was diagnosed in November.
She has a Caring Bridge page.
Her name is Mary and she is 11.

I will send you some info!
Praying for you and your son!

High profile trial lengths:
(Not counting any subsequent appeals etc...)
(I honestly never thought the JA case would be high proflie....)

Conrad Murray's trial was 6 weeks....9 hour deliberation
Casey Anthony 6 weeks....deliberation 11 hours
Scott Peterson 6 months.....7 days deliberation
Robert Blake 3 months.....35 hours
OJ 8 months...4 hours deliberation

Just popping in for a few. I'm still in Omaha, NE with my daughter, son-in-law and brand new grandson.

I caught a couple of hours of testimony yesterday and can't wait to hear JM cross examine her. I noticed one thing while listening to ALaV - Everything that she was saying about Travis doing to Jodi seemed to be what Jodi did to Travis. Very odd!

Oh my....

She is probably having another "nervous breakdown" or in our world, a crying fit.:banghead:

It could be even a hissy-fit, cricket. Maybe.

I doubt there was any rope, even though I think I remember seeing a tiny piece of rope, about 3 or 4 inches, in a crime scene photo. I will try to look again for it. Yet it seems the police didn't find any rope? and JA says she threw it away, you know during the fog that didn't exist.

I suspect she made the rope up to go along with one of the stories LaViolette will be telling about abuse victims and how they just go along with everything.

Aaaand, ya gotta be careful there, because it could get twisted to say "well if TA really was in fear of his life, why did HE continue his sexual relationship with JA?" and "Why did he let her in his house that night?"

I know there are some who believe otherwise, but I think he allowed her in, had sex with her and probably had no TRUE idea what she was capable of. Despite what he said to his friend.

And yet he is STILL a victim.

I think that's why they probably won't go there. IMO

JM is too smart to open THAT door. And it really isn't necessary to prove premed, IMHO.

I would like to know for certain if she is routinely getting a lunch every day or if they have to make a request when she is not feeling great. I hope this does not become a problem on appeal if she is not getting any food for 14 hours straight during her trial, not to mention the lack of sleep.

Interesting article on how Sherrif Joe's policies affect inmates during trial here.

But food is provided for her to eat. She is responsible to pack her own lunch from the tray that is provided for her in the morning. I really do not think she is eating properly and it would be the same thing if defense brought back a burger and fries for her to eat at lunch. She just is not eating those 2600 calories that are provided for her during the day. Everyday it is the same thing to eat so I'm sure it's not one of things she would be looking forward to. Imagine eating peanut butter everyday for 5 years. After awhile the same thing day after day would not be something you would look forward to. If she is hungry she will eat. I think she just likes to cause trouble. jmo

Yup. Come home from work to see court was cancelled. I'm sure everyone else is over it already, but....seriously? This is just dragging on and on and on the way they schedule. Or postpone. Or adjourn for the day if someone throws up. I would be pretty annoyed if I were on the jury. Set times and keep to it. People have lives!!

Yayyyy Doesn't that sound fantastic Linda???

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer I swear or any sympathy but I didn't get the job I interviewed for the other day...

But I'm looking into job at Duke & few other places.. No Worries just wasn't the right place I was suppose to be!

But I just HAD to comment as I was speed reading posts I know how happy you are & Congrats again Lady!!!
