Because it has to do with a juror saying something they probably have to put each juror on the stand and since they are supposed to be secret they probably can't. JMO

OK could juror #5 have gotten in the elevator and maybe said 'hello' to one of Travis' sisters?

imo

At this rate no one will be on the stand today!

Do nurmi and Willmott not realize with all these hearings and dragging testimony out they will be pizzing the jury off even more???

I hate to say this & hope to heck I'm wrong, but I'm smelling a plea deal. I know Juan rarely, if ever, accepts plea deals but I can see him supporting the family if they want to put an end to this; especially with the way ALV's testimony was going last week.

My tummy hurts :banghead:

Jury has to be getting very frustrated with the constant delays and lack of progress in this case. :furious:

Well I know as soon as I walk away from my 'puter something BIG will happen, so my Easter gift to ALL OF YOU is I am going to walk away to make my kids some lunch! Just make sure SOMEBODY fills me in! :please: :blowkiss:

There will NEVER be a plea in this case! JA's ego won't allow it and JM/Travis' family's need for true justice won't either!

That must be subject of discuss / victim family. What else is there to talk about? JA has no other way to pull a judge behind closed doors.

Well, I'm gonna shower now then.

In all reality.. I would think its up to Travis's family...
not JM's boss
JMO

Considering this trial is "The State" vs Jodi Arias...Certainly the family would be consulted out of respect, but I don't think they would definitely have the final decision.

ETA: The family have invested so much in participating in this trial that I wouldn't believe they would consider a plea. At this point, I am sure they want the trial to reach it's natural end point, a guilty verdict!

Does anyone else find it hilarious that we are JOKING about passing prescription medication around...yet we can't discuss smoking? My posts were deleted and so were others mentioning it! LOL!!

I didn't even know what the med was! :floorlaugh:

did I just land on the pharmaceutical thread?...

I know...I did read percocet and my ears percocetted up!

Don't listen to anyone's opinions who try to read the jurors at this juncture, it's impossible to know what they're thinking, or which way they are leaning, and the testimony isn't anywhere close to being over.

Is it possible this juror had her notes confiscated? Maybe she wrote bias notes.

I think 1st degree w/LWOP is all the State would accept. If Travis' family is cool with that, so am I.

As much as I want the DP for Jodi, I'll go along with LWOP if it means we don't have to listen to 2 more days of Wilmott and ALV. But I was REALLY:rocker::rocker: looking forward to Juan's rebuttal.

Who needs a street corner when you have WS! :floorlaugh:

Right? lOL..I have memories of notes being passed in class asking if u wanted anything..haha

  • #337
:snooty:......there simply can't be a mistrial!
Cuz I really, really, really need to hear Juan's rebuttal and know who his witnesses are.....
I really do!

Contrary to some folks thinking this trial is not put on for our viewing pleasure. We are fortunate it is on at all. jmo

Trials are to be public, and they are paid for with tax money, and the results have an effect on society. It should all be televised. We are harming ourselves when we put the courts above us like they are our lords imo

I would never give JA a plea deal unless she first could actually tell the truth and that isnt going to happen so I would also never give her a plea deal.

We were, and we asked that he NOT get the DP. The prosecutor offered him LWOP & he turned it down.
