It sounds like the jury is not at all impressed by any of this - same as they were not impressed by Samuels. Nothing of any importance is being proven. He did not beat her, he did not abuse her, he did not degrade her. There is no solid proof of any of that - only filthy liar Jodi's "journals." No police reports, no witnesses, no word mentioned of abuse in he sacred "journals." Worse thing he did as far as I can see is he kept seeing her even though his interest in her was "meh." There's nothing different about this relationship than any other relationship with people in their early 30's. Except she premeditated slaughtering him mercilessly..
