Perhaps Jodi's mom is a good actress and she's only pretending to be distressed in front of Det. Flores. Psychopaths come from dysfunctional homes.

So do many of us, who are not psychopaths.

Both the mom's and dad's responses were totally congruent with the situation. They seem so human and normal.

Wonder if there were issues with JA 'competing' with Mom for Daddy's affection? Like she views her Mom as enemy, competition or just another woman in her way of what she wants???

Good catch!

You know Jodi likes men more than women.

Just sayin

I think number 5 asked the bulk of the questions. Hope we hear from her tomorrow.

Interesting the father said Jodi was only strange the past year or so. The mother said Jodi has mental problems and her friends would call mom in the middle of the night and tell her Jodi needs help.

I think the mom saw through Jodi more than the father did. The mom had to deal with Jodi more and that is why their relationship was strained.

I don't know why but I think she hates both of her parents and has for a long time. She cant really love anyone. Psychopaths aren't capable of bonding and loving someone. If she didn't get her way she probably raged. When they enabled her things were fine but when they didn't it was hell to pay in that family.

IMO

Yes, no one wants a psychopath child!

About dialysis? Is it known that dad has only a year to live because my uncle had that 3 times a week and lasted 20 years. In Illinois he was the person who was on dialysis the longest ever. I think people usually die a lot earlier than that or have a transplant.

I don't know why I put ?? but everyone keeps saying he's not well not have long to live... sorry if confusion just throwing out an assumption or 'speculating'

Why are these interview tapes just coming out now??? They change the entire direction of the case! Did JA's parents ever get help for her? Was she ever diagnosed? Where are the witnesses to her psychotic episodes? School reports? There must be a trail somewhere.

The DT is trying to pass her heinous crime off as domestic abuse/PTSD! WTH! She has a classic case of antisocial personality disorder, i.e. she's a psychopath! The DT would have been better off with an insanity plea! There is no cure for ASPD. She cannot be allowed into the general prison population - she has to be isolated on death row - for the remainder of her natural life - even if she gets LWOP. Left to her own devices in prison, she is so clever she will find a way to escape by seducing a prison guard.

These tapes are a bombshell - there must be more! Holy cow!!!
I agree, and it makes ALV's testimony all the more offensive. Not to mention the wearing of DV ribbons by mom & aunt ~ now that we know the Arias family KNEW Jodi was becoming more & more psychotic in the year before the murder.

Mr. & Mrs. Arias both just said so. How they can stand by and watch her mount this defense & slander Travis in death is absolutely beyond me.

Oh for sure. Notice how Jodi creepy stared at the female detective, she truly hates women. Now she's stuck in a place that has no men. Watch out fellow prisoners that's all I can say.

ALV says there are no signs of jealousy in Jodi Arias.

29 stab wounds, slashed throat and a gunshot to the face... Is THAT SIGNIFICANT to you?

UNREAL! Anyone know where to see the Arias parents interviews in their entirety? TIA.

Arias was a walking time bomb

If I were Jodi's mother, I'd be there to show my daughter that she was not alone. I would never taunt, or demand that the victims family behave in a certain way. Not one time has Travis' family done anything to them. They need to show the same class.

BBM:
I agree with you.

Dad has put the pieces together.

Jodi all sweet and innocent, then flies into a rage and screaming at Sandy. (bipolar?)

Then the gun goes missing...

Respectfully thats not bipolar thats at minimum borderline personality disorder and a psychopath to boot. LOL lets not defame those with bipolar d/o. JMO:what::twocents:

Jodi Arias trial update: Was excused juror already in hot water?

PHOENIX - Tuesday may not have been the first time Juror #5 in the trial of Jodi Arias has been accused of improper conduct.
<snipped>

In court records, we found a transcript of a phone call made to Judge Sherry Stephen’s division phone at 8:36 a.m. on February 23.

According to the transcript, the caller claims there are reports that the juror needs to be watched.

“The one with multi-colored hair is attempting to coach Arias from the jury box. She shakes her head no, no, no to tell Jodi not to answer a question,” the caller alleged in the message on Stephens' voicemail.

I noticed he didn't look all that unhealthy while in the interrogation room but he sure looks bad now and very ill.

I can respect your feelings. However, in spite of her bad behavior, neither she nor Jodi's father murdered Travis. I won't hold the sins of the daughter against the mother.

For what it's worth, I agree her behavior at times seems immature and disrespectful. But, c'mon neither you nor I have any idea what she is going through.

I also think that everyone has different baseline behavior under unimaginable stress. I used to be perplexed by the behavior of Chandra Levy's Mom in tv interviews after she went missing. She had what can only be described as an inappropriate laughter reflex. It didn't make her seem suspect or anything, but it made me feel uncomfortable for her.

I think the same feeling when I watch Jodi's Mom and Aunt. There is no guidebook for this situation.

Things I learned today:
1)Watching a documentary makes me able to testify in court on various topics. I'm eligible to testify on Bo Jackson, any celebrity as I have seen all the E True Hollywood stories, and sharks (Shark Week counts).

2) Jodi's first victim was most likely her dog.

3) Jodi's parents were not even remotely surprised to find out Jodi was suspected in Travis's murder.

4) According to ALV, Travis grabbing JA butt means he was asking to be murdered. Such abusive behavior is appalling.

You got all that out of a one minute or less clip of her mother?

I think she tried to survive like all family members do when having to deal with a psychopath. She was probably fearful of her daughter too.

From what I have read it is horrific for family members when they have a psychopath as a child.

She seemed more honest and truly distraught in the one minute clip than her daughter did on the stand for 19 days.

I wonder how she felt when she saw the photo's of what Jodi did to Travis and the crime scene? I would carry guilt in my heart all the rest my days because I didn't get her help if she was my child. And then sit there and try and minimize and/or justify what Jodi did to Travis is ..well what can I say.. she's the one who raised her and let her terrorize others.

Oh Yes! I just meant that symptom (sweet-to-rage=bipolar) from those interro's out of many many mental issues. Also sociopath #1.

Rather.....Intermittent Explosive Disorder + many other diagnoses.
