I would like to hear David Sedaris to do the reading of the journals.
Seriously, and I mean (deep voice) seriously, I would pay lots of money to hear his reading of "Ode to the Jode of Arias".

That would be SsSssSOOOOOO massively AWESOME

Where in the name of all that is holy did JA get money? It is apparent she got none from her parents so where???????????????
I know this is not important but it bugs me...she travelled, she did, she went, how????

From men?

That is all I will say.

:)

"we went all the way this time"
LOL
-from the diary of a 26 year old woman

The truth is it wasn't her first time at the rodeo... why is she writing/pretending like she's some virginal girl... nope, don't buy it Arias.:cursing:

A promiscuous 26 year-old woman who'd already lost her virginity a decade before that entry.

i know! seriously.... i stopped using that term when i was 23! :rocker:

I never used that term. I'm a shameless foul mouth, though.

She didn't tell them that Jodi had a gun. She asked if a gun had been found.

Forgive my poor paraphrasing of her statement. At any rate, back to my question, why would she ask them if a gun had been found if she was trying to protect JA? Why even mention a gun?

People always say that but that is never how I mean it at all. Whenever I say it I mean something more like, "poor thing," or "I'm sure he meant well but....bless his heart"

ITA!

I am from the deep south and have been all of my life and I have never used that phrase in a sarcastic way.

In fact I never knew people said that phrase to be sarcastic until I started reading that on message boards.

Live and learn. lol

I think what you are saying is 100% possible and in my opinion.. LIKELY!!! She is the type of crazy that would leave blank places in journals to fib in them later! I swear! Especially since she has gotten pens! And where did she get these pens from?? Oh yeah, her defense team.
MOO:moo::moo:

Didn't the police confiscate her journals when they arrested her?

At first I thought she just wrote her journals with the mind set that someone else would read them (an idea buttressed by the fact that apparently Mormons journal with a view to passing the journal on to future generations) however, after hearing what was read in court today, I'm very suspicious that entries were created, by Jodi, to suit her needs/plans for Travis.

Yes, she wrote a poor imitation of 'fifty shades of grey'.

Ever since I first started watching this trial and have heard the journal snippets I have thought she had read too many romance novels and was making things up.

“It still remains that I cannot marry him. I cannot quite put my finger on it, but something is just off with that boy.” Who talks like that? That is the phoniest line I have ever heard, it just sounds like a poorly written movie script.

This is not a snarky question and yes I'm too lazy to use the Google Machine.

What is the deal with JeanC? Is she an attorney that became a talking head? Her appearance is reminiscent of an certain type of gal getting on in years but trying verrrrrrrrrrry hard to maintain the appearance of youth.

When she took the stand last week, I thought her dress seemed a little too short and youngish for her.

Everything about her screams, "trying too hard.". Know what I mean?

I think I'm in the minority here but I like Jane. Granted the years take a toll but I remember her from the 90's when CourtTv was new and she was a very good commentator.

grr. I was going to make a joke about this and her saying she is Christ-like, but it might be offensive to Christians and that's NOT my intention.
But, rest assured, I'm LOLing

Dr. Drew show called me after I emailed them! they are calling me at 8:45 and Ill be able to ask question on the show!!! YAY!!!

Respectfully...Please be careful with what you say:please:

Moo

Don't hate me-- but I think its not worth it for the Alexander family if they would have to go through all of this again.

Patience is a virtue. So is caution.

She referred to herself as "Christ-like"

ypuza
this woman is very intelligent but too deep for me. i sense a coldness from these journal entries, tells me she's all about appearances and flowing fancy words with no human emotion behind them. If she had real feelings, she couldn't or wouldn't kill.

I believe it was Arias' attempt to feign empathy for abused animals..was during an ALV cat abuse story to do with someone not related to the case.I muted from that point on..:what:

The person reading these journal entries aloud on the show is kind of amusing "Smileeeyyy faceee".. "frowwwny faaace"... lol. Sounds like the maturity level of what goes through JA's mind..

Agreed... it's almost the state of mind Jodi was in while she was spitting this all out in a week or less. We see how fast she writes in court. I guarantee you these journals will be released and whatever the heck she is scribbling all day in court will also be published. All funds to the Alexander family please :please:
I don't believe the journals are real at all. I know someone personally that lies like heck in all her journals. This person also has a very extensive day dream life that they build characters and lives and situations. Jodi you are not as smart as you think:seeya:
