4? Thanks for that.

I do think ALV is gonna choke and gag and struggle under JM's questioning.

"No signs of jealousy."

someone help me out here please......last night on here it was said that if ALV leaves or is a no show for cross, then it is a mistrial.....doesn't that just seem too easy of a way out?? I would think that if Juan cannot cross her, then her testimony would be thrown out.....is a mistrial really this easy to come by??

Maybe because the alternative is to tell the jury to disregard her testimony. But it's not like telling a jury to ignore a single sentence or such. Here we have many days of testimony. How can a jury be told to ignore all of that?

YES 4, I'm still laughing at your comment. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

ITA ALV is headed for some tough cross-examination. :great: JW will be objecting after every question JM puts to ALV.

We have many Juanettes here.

So I wonder if Jodi has gotten marriage proposals?

Afterall Bundy got numerous ones. And to show again how clever and resourceful he could be, he found an old Florida law on the books that said someone on trial in a judge's presence can be considered to have gotten married if the two exchange vows in said courtroom. Bundy announced to the Florida Court that he had just gotten married under Statute.

Later it is alleged that he sired a child with that woman--while on death row.

So any male Jodettes here or anywhere?

IDK, but I do know there is a website similiar to Match just for men wanting to correspond with female inmates. I read about the service on an entrepreneurial internet site. Apparently very lucrative and the start up guys said famous inmates like Susan Smith were real favorites. Go figure.

That's not true. I don't think...

We always said "HOW NICE"
:giggle:

I'm getting tired of these TH's blaming Jodi's parents for everything. Perhaps she is just plain evil!!!! And, I, for one, don't think anything would have stopped her from doing what she did to Travis. She had her mind made up days before June 4, 2008; possibly just minutes after she received those text messages from him. She was going to kill him, come hell or high water and no one will ever convince me differently.

Furthermore, there are tens of thousands of people who don't have a picture-perfect childhood or picture-perfect parents, but they don't slaughter someone to death. This all infuriates me to no end. :furious:

I totally agree. I had not so great parents, and I don't want to kill anyone. I think the empty void inside her and the evilness is something she was born with, or something she was born without. It wasn't taught or learned. It's just an entity that IS. Wouldn't have mattered WHO her parents were, and how she was raised. She's just an abhorrence to the human race.

The Feb diary entry states that she went to the bank and deposited another 80.00 for TA.

Are there bank records that show an 80.00 deposit for him on that day or a day close to it? All the checks that we have seen have been from Jan correct?

How in the world was TA paying her 200.00 to clean her house but was borrowing money left and right? That doesn't match up? Even her mom said in the interview that JA was cleaning his house for cash.

I would love it if JM could at least prove this entry false. That would highlight the possibility that there are other false things.

ALV's illness is a well-known, but incurable disease--JuanMartinezphobia.

:tyou: Ahhh yes...JMP cross examinationitis

Of course we now know Jodi has a penchant for twos, so if she is allowed conjugal visits--well you know what I am getting at. :)

If ALV hasn't been watching this trial, how did she know to change her testimony about Jodi saying Travis was looking at actual pictures instead of saying they were on the computer???? Her generation would have thought "actual" pictures first if Jodi said he was looking at them on his bed and not thought "computer" pictures. With this type of a revelation Ms. LV, as an expert, would NOT have gotten that detail wrong.

She SO has been watching the trial. I posted yesterday in the fast-moving thread, as I'm sure others noticed her say this as well....

When talking about walking in on TA with the photos and being asked about what JA said to ALV, ALV said "her testimony..." then she corrected herself and said "in coversation,".

AVL is suppose to be the defenses star witness....cough, cough
I believe the lawyers said there would be a mistrial if she was seriously ill and unable to return. I would hope any such illness would be thoroughly investigated and verified if this was to happen.

The only reason lazy a$$ Arias cleaned Travis' house was so she could snoop around.

It makes no sense that Travis borrowed anything from Arias. She had nothing.

I'd be surprised if there were on any on this forum to be honest with you. Not that all opinions aren't welcome, but it would be one (or two) voices in a mass of opposing viewpoints. I believe there are other forums that lean more on the defense.

Sadly, I believe we were told that is the case...No ALV...cause for mistrial :banghead:

I was taught to say How Interesting. That way you aren't agreeing or disagreeing.

I'm a teacher...that's what I say to students in discussions when they're off topic or "other" ..."interesting...."

Yes, good one.

But I think ALV may be a no-show from now on.

And I call this a JM cross-examinationECTOMY!

Honestly, no matter what JA is one of those people where some was not enough, more was not enough...there was never enough love, attention or caring. She had certain ideas of how love was shown, getting her way all the time, nothing she wrong should be brought up it should always be forgiven etc. She definitely was not able to receive 'love' in its truest form. The only way her parents could show her how much they 'loved' her was to believe everything she said, think everything she did was perfect and just give her what she wanted. Because they didn't do that it was that they didn't 'love' her. I bet a lot of those screaming/rage calls were about things that JA wanted but her parents were saying no.

I don't fault her parents for everything. Sometimes parents do the best they can. They may have thought at a certain point, maturity would kick in and she would grow out of it or something. She definitely needed help, but its possible it was way too late by then.

It was also reported on GMA per Juror #5 she wasn't ready to talk just yet out of fear of saying something to jeopardize the trial. So sounds like we will here from her down the pike.

I agree. Someone mentioned that she's as sly as a crocodile. That description fits her so well. Crocodiles will pretend to be sleeping/sun bathing when they are in fact, waiting for an opportunity to pounce on their victim.

This expert came into this trial trying to appear as though she is Mother Teresa, sprinkling her kindness and goodness everywhere she goes.
Her true colours have been brought out during the last few days. She has a sly smile on her face while bashing Travis. Just wait till JM gets his chance. She'll look her true self then.
