Well peeps, I have to get on with real life and head out the door.
Just marking my spot so I can start where I left off! Hope there is court today as I am off Monday and would have the opportunity to HOPE that JM gets to start cross at least in the afternoon.

Thanks for all the commentaries along the way...it sure helps when I am listening to the videos in the evening!

I agree. But I wouldn't be a bit surprised if her words and actions had been carefully cautioned and compelled by one very concerned prosecuting attorney.

I'm sure she was read the riot act on speaking in the press by the judge.

Obviously ALV never spoke with Jodi's parents. It appears that was what JM was alluding to when he asked RS if he had ever spoken to the parents. Those interviews with Flores would have had to have influenced their decision to testify had either ALV or RS interviewed them or heard these tapes.

More damning was the fact that ALV said Jodi's brother corroborated the abuse. True or not, we'll never know.

Maybe Judge Stephens should consider super sanitizing that courtroom?

Bringing an Exorcist in might be a better plan...just sayin' :D

It's possible ALV's slip yesterday about changing her claim that Jodi saw pictures on Travis' computer to actual pictures because of Jodi's testimony.....then she corrected it to conversation could have made her quite ill. It appears ALV may have watched some of Jodi's testimony which she was not suppose to do. So it was not so much that she was lying about it, but that she slipped up and got caught. JM would not something like that slip by.
I missed most of yesterday. Is there a you tube up with this part of her testimony???

I don't think so, I believe anyone who is to provide or is providing testimony cannot watch the proceedings as it could influence their testimony.

I thought the same but one od our lawyers on here explained to me that experts are exempt from the admonishment.

I think ALV may have suffered from an attack of IBS brought on by that little slip regarding testimony. I think she may have to put on some Depends before JM begins his cross-examination which is sure to bring on more IBS attacks.

I missed the last part (on purpose) because it was making I'll as well.

What was the slip to which you refer ? I missed that part.

It's a stumper, ain't it.
Doctors aren't required to report adult on adult abuse and won't unless someone arrives beaten and goes unconscious under their care. Patients are asked about the potential of assault so that they can help protect the patient and get them any services they need to stay safe. JA didn't seek medical care for her crooked finger because it's anomaly she was born with and has been showing off to people no doubt since she was a kid.
She works with her hands. She had to make a 'bazillion' margaritas every day. She missed no work (per her) due to her broken finger. IMHO there was never a broken finger. She'd have been screaming in pain everytime she knocked her finger. It would have been bruised and swollen and her boss and co-workers would all have been on the witness list to tell us all about it if she had.

Does anybody know how many siblings Jodi has? Was she the oldest living at home? What is the age differences?

I remember Jodi on the stand saying (ok, I know she lies) that her life at home was perfect until she turned 8 or 9. Just wondering, if it was really age 10 or 11. I think that was when her mom got pregnant with her younger siblings. You know, Jodi was no longer the center of attention, no longer the "star" in her family, unloved (according to her), diaper duty, the invisible child....

I have always heard this to be the case but I still find it troubling, Especially with experts who play with the brain and tend to blame everything on some malfunction rather than admit the defendant is just a bunny boiler, er, frog boiler.

Good morning everyone :-) I sure do hope Juan Martinez get to ask this expert witness questions today. I hope the first question he asks AL will be, "have you ever met Travis Alexander" and second question, "have you ever spoke with Travis Alexander" and after she answers no to both questions I hope he just shreds her to pieces on all the BS she has put out there about Travis. I am sooooo looking forward to Juan Martinez putting out the truth, again.
